"I just don't understand, why would anybody want to be eaten, willingly!" I scrunch my face up in disgusts as I sit opposite Sabrina as we continue our conversation about our disgust in the Feast of Feasts.

"Annual demonstration of our devotion to the dark Lord my ass" Sabrina quotes Aunt Zelda, "just cannibalism if you ask me" she continues sipping on her apple juice.

"I preferred it when I used to celebrate thanksgiving, much more appropriate if you ask me" My mind wonders off to images of last years thanksgiving dinner, "Mabel!" Sabrina shakes my shoulder, "you're drooling" she laughs readjusting her hairband.

"Nicholas, where do you stand on the feast of feasts?" I ask as the attractive boy places his tray down beside mine, I turn my head to face him watching as the light dances across his face.

"I'm a conscientious objector" He immediately responds, leaning in closer to me and whispering "I think its bonkers" he grabs my hand, planting his plump lips on the back.

"You two are seriously disgusting" Sabrina exclaims, sticking her tongue out at Nick's outward affection. "Now come on Mabel, we've got potions to make".

Me and Sabrina walk off towards our next class, before we walk away I turn around to see Nick already watching us. He gives me a quick wink and wave before I disappear around the corner.

We make our way to our class and I take a seat next to Sabrina, "Right witches and warlocks, take out your textbooks and go to page 8" I sigh heaving the textbook from my bag.

----------

"So.. like this?" I slowly levitate the book in front of me, clearly showing off as no one else around me seemed up understand how I was doing it.

"Yes, Mabel that is perfect" Miss Baxter congratulates, clapping her hands.

"Look girls, we've got ourselves a show off over here." Prudence snarls from across the room, "Who needs to know how to make something fly anyway? All I need to know is how to hex people and how to make Nicholas beg for my.."

"Thats enough Prudence!" Miss Baxter scolds her.

I hear faint giggles as Prudence carries on, "Oh please, Nick doesn't actually like her he's just taking pity on her because she's an orphan, just like her friend over there."

"STOP!" My voice raises a lot louder than I expected it to and I watch as the book that was previously in front of me fly into the wall behind Prudence, narrowly missing her by a thread.

The class goes silent, everyone in shock at my sudden outburst.

"Looks like someones got a temper" Agatha smirks, strutting over to Prudence to make sure she was okay.

-------

"I'm sorry Mr Blackwood, it won't happen again I promise" I sigh grabbing my bags as I leave his office after being scolded for my previous encounter with Prudence.

I slam the door behind me and lean by back up against the wall, "I heard about what Prudence said" A deep voice fills my ears as I open one eye to see who stood in front of me.

"Nick" I smile now standing up straight "She just got under my nails".

"Well, I heard you only got mad after she mentioned me, not to blow my own bubble or anything" He smirks, leaning one arm against the wall.

"Oh shut up" I laugh lightly hitting his chest, "Just didn't like her tone of voice I guess" pulling my bag back onto my shoulder.

Before I could walk off Nick grabbed my arm, "do you wanna go out with me tonight?"

"Like, on a date?" I tease.

"Yeah, something like that" Nick sends me a cheesy grin waiting for my response.

"Of course I'll go on a date with you, pick me up from Sabrina's at 7?" He nods, slowly biting his lip , "See you then".

----------------------

"MABEL! Nicks here" I here Aunt Hilda shouts.

I quickly glance in the mirror checking my outfit for the last time. "Perfect" I smile making my way downstairs.

"Oh Hilda, you do make me laugh, you'll need to make me more of these scones, they're delicious" I hear Nicks voice boom from the kitchen

"Oh Hilda, you do make me laugh, you'll need to make me more of these scones, they're delicious" I hear Nicks voice boom from the kitchen.

"You taking me or my aunt out tonight" I giggle jumping behind Nick causing him to jump.

"Well, I wouldn't mind" Hilda teases taking out a chicken from the over, "Neither would I" Nick plays along, grabbing helping Hilda place the chicken down, "I've always been into older ladies.. especially ones who can cook".

'Alright then, ill be on my way for my date with the DARK LORD" I tease walking towards the door.

"No! Wait! I'm coming" Nick scatters behind me, opening the door.

"Don't be back too late" I hear Hilda shout from the kitchen.

We end up walking into town, coming across a small café. We make our way inside taking a seat beside the glass window.

"Hey, look we colour co-ordinated" I smile pointing out both our choices of camel jumpers.

"Its a sign" Nick winks glancing down at my outfit, "you look really good by the way, so gorgeous" he grins.

I feel my cheeks heat up and hide my face behind the menu, "hey, hey stop that, I can't see your face if you're hiding it" Nick grabs the menu off me uncovering my face.

"Anyway... what do you want" I ask snatching the menu back off him.

"Well I'm just gonna have a cappuccino" he answers, looking up at the board, "I'll have a flat white then" I smile standing up to go order and pay.

"No, you stay here, I'll go get them" Nick goes up and orders, he comes back to the table with our drinks.

"One flat white for my lady" He smiles placing the drink in front of me.

"Your lady?"I question, raising my eyebrows and take a sip.

"Well.. soon to be" I get another infamous Nick Scratch smirk as he leans back in his chair.

"You really are cocky aren't you" I tease.

"Don't you know it."

We spend the next 45 minutes in this little lightly lit coffee shop, "I really enjoyed tonight Nick" I smile as we approach the Spellman house.

We stop just outside the front door, facing one another. "Me too" He responds, grabbing both my hands.

I look up to Nick and notice him slowly leaning in, he plants his lips onto mine and I feel his grin on his face as he does so.

He bites my bottom lip and grabs ahold of my cheeks before pulling away, "Goodnight Spellman" he responds before leaving me alone on the doorstep.
