Chapter 4

{I made this chapter last October, wow I didn't realize how long it had been! Anyway, enjoy~} You and Gray had been dating for three months. Your four month anniversary was that day. It was around 5 o'clock and the two of you were walking around town.

"Sure is a beautiful day, isn't it y/n?" Gray asked, holding your hand as the sun beamed down on you.

"Yea, it's a little hot though." You said, hoping he would cool you off a bit.

"I can fix that." He said with a smile as he put his hand on your chest and a cool sensation suddenly spread all over you.

"Thanks" You said as the two of you kept walking.

"So, I was thinking we should do something special for our four month anniversary." Gray said as he let go of your hand and draped his arm over your shoulder.

"What do you want to do?" You asked, wanting him to choose.

"Maybe we could go out to a fancy restaurant." He suggested.

"But then we might not have enough money to pay rent this month." You said with a slightly sad look on your face.

"It's fine, I already paid rent early." He smiled.

"Okay, I would love to go somewhere to eat." You cheered up a bit.

"Sounds like a plan." The raven haired male said as Lucy walked by.

"Hey guys" Lucy said, now beside you.

"Hey Lucy" You greeted her.

"What's up?" Gray also greeted the blonde teen.

"I'm just walking to Natsu's house." She smiled. "Have you guys heard about that new restaurant that opened up?"

"No, what's it called?" Gray asked.

"Magnolia buffet" She said.

"They couldn't have come up with a more creative name for it?" You asked.

"I gotta go meet Natsu, we're going on a job. See you guys later." Lucy laughed at your comment.

You and Gray went home and got ready for your date. You decided to wear something formal since this was an expensive restaurant and everything. You wore a black button up shirt with matching dress pants. You put on the best cologne you had and walked out of the bathroom. Your eyes widened at how great Gray looked in his white tux and pants, you blushed.

"Looking good" Gray flashed you a smile.

"Y-You look amazing." Your words came out clumsily.

The two of you walked to the restaurant and sat at a table with two seats on either side. A waiter came and asked what you wanted to drink.

"I'll take a lemonade." You said.

"I guess I'll have the same." Gray said.

The waiter left to get the drinks.

"So, how do you like Magnolia so far? Since you've been here for a while now." Gray asked.

"I love it!" You said happily "I was kinda shy at first, I guess I still am. But everyone in the guild makes me feel... happy." You smiled.

"Glad to hear" Gray said. "So what do you think about Natsu?"

"Well, he's really loud and destructive, but he's cool." You replied. "But I haven't been paying that much attention to him since you're the only one for me."

Gray smiled at your comment. The waiter brought your drinks out and then the both of you got up to go to the buffet. They had all your favorite foods and you got a plate full of all of them. You waited for Gray to get all of his food before you went back to the table. Gray walked over to you with a giant plate that was stacked with food. You both went back and sat down.

"You sure got a lot of food." You commented.

"Yeah, so? I haven't eaten all day!" Gray replied.

"Whatever makes you happy." You laughed a bit and started eating.

It took you a while to eat, but only a few minutes for Gray to eat. The two of you talked and talked for a long time until it was getting really late. You both decided it was time to leave at around eleven o'clock. By the time the two of you got home, you were both tired and barely awake. Gray grabbed you by your hand and took you to the couch, where you both drifted off to sleep.
