She's Mine

Chapter 1: Feelings

Emma's POV:

I woke up to my alarm blaring. I had already snoozed it 4 times, so I decided it was time to get up. I slowly got up from my bed getting ready for the day. I throw on my ripped skinny jeans, my cute knotted grey top, and a dark grey cardigan. I slip my converse on. I grab my backpack and lunch and leave. 

I start my car and drive to school picking up coffee on the way. I sit in my car and check Instagram and Snapchat before I leave to go inside the school. 

Suddenly I hear a tap on my window it's my best friend Liam. He has his baseball jersey on. I  get out and give him a hug. 

Did you get me any coffee?

No, I didn't know you wanted one I said as I laughed.

He took my coffee and took a sip replying with " Fine I guess well just share yours".

Ok, I replied.

We walked in together like always talking about anything and everything. We were greeted by our many friends. The baseball team boys and some softball and cheer girls all mixed up to make our very large friend group. 

We were in the middle of Junior year and we were all so tired of school. We were so ready to be seniors.

The bell rang and we all went separate ways to our first period.

I wouldn't see Liam again till 3rd period but I had other friends to hang out with in Gym. I walked with my friends Lacy, Allie, and Evelynn. They were all with their boyfriends. I passed them and walked up to the guys. They were chatting about who was gonna do the best at the baseball game today. 

I laughed and replied we all know its gonna be Liam. They turned around and saw it was me. They all gave me hugs and kisses since I haven't been to school in a week because I've been sick.

"Yeah, right it's gonna be me," says Andrew.

"Nice try Its gonna be me," says Tanner.

I listen as they all talk up a storm. I hang back a little waiting for the one and only guy I wanted to talk to Luke.

He holds back and walks with me. He's Liam's best friend and I've had a crush on him since freshman year. 

Everyone is ahead of us walking and he holds my hand. 

I've missed you he says. 

I've missed you too.

Before I got sick we were at a party. He told me he liked me since freshman year and I told him I did too. 

He kissed me then, but we decided that we were not gonna tell anybody. So we've been dating in secret.

Are you coming to my game tonight? Asked Luke 

"Of course," I replied

He whispered in my ear." My parents are going out of town and no one will be home do you want to come over."

I looked back at him replying "I guess you'll just have to see."

I ran off to the gym trying not to be late. He ran after me but it was too late we were already late. Which meant DETENTION. I had to find a way to get out of it. I knew Luke would be excused because he had a game but I wouldn't since this would be my 4th tardy, and I've used almost every excuse in the book. I had to figure out a way to get out of this. I couldn't miss this game.

The next 2 periods went by fast.
