Y/N, May 11th

You wake up in your messy room, school just got out, and your glad for the summer break. You plan to spend the whole thing playing video games, painting, and just generally relaxing. Sighing, You get out of bed and get dressed. You put on a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt with white letters that read "Not all math puns are bad, just SUM" and a pair of black converse. You put your hair up in a pony tail, look in the mirror, and decide that you are good for the day.

Checking your phone for the time, you walk downstairs at 8:15 AM. Some school habits take more than a day to wear off sadly. Your dad smiles at you as you walk into the kitchen, asking you how you slept. You give him a non-committal shrug, and begin making a bowl of Reese's cereal. Then your mom runs into the room, her pale blonde hair reflecting the kitchen light and almost blinding you.

You put your hands up to your face, and sigh, annoyed, telling your mom that she needs to stop doing that. She chuckles at you and asks if you have any plans for the summer. "Only to play video games and relax," you respond with a sigh as you begin to eat your cereal. Your mom smiles and throws a pamphlet at you. It says in bold letters; CAMP CAMP; THERE'S A CAMP FOR EVERYONE! You laugh and ask her if this is a joke. She smirks and says that "Of course it isn't, I already signed you up for it and the bus will pick you up tomorrow from the front of the neighborhood. Be sure to pack for the rest of summer! Me and your father are going to go on a cruise!" She seemed so excited, so you just shrugged, finished your breakfast, and went to your room to pack.

Once you finished, you grabbed your wallet and went downstairs. Yelling to your mom that you were going out, you walk to a nearby gas station and grab some camping stuff, since the pamphlet said you were camping. You also buy some snacks before walking back home and checking your phone to tell you that it is 6:30 PM.

Now that you're home, you pack all the stuff you bought into your favorite black drawstring bag with a navy blue rose on it. You sigh and go into the kitchen to get dinner. Neither of your parents are in there, so you just grab some leftover pizza from the fridge and heat it up.

As you eat your pizza, you feel your phone buzz. It's your friend telling you that she won't be able to text you for the rest of summer, since she just got grounded from her phone because of her report card. "Speaking of that," she continued, "what did u get on ur report card?" You responded saying that you got all A's but a B in Spanish. Your friend called you lucky then said she had to go.

You shake your head and put your phone back into your pocket, then decide to go to sleep. You'd have to wake up at school hours so you'd best go to sleep at school hours, right? You lie in bed for about an hour, just staring at the ceiling as you wonder about the camp you're being sent to. Finally, you fell asleep waiting for the next morning and hoped that you might make a friend there.
