I packed some fruits for Daniel to carry to the hospital and some foods for Daniel's lunch and few bunches packets of crackers and nicely sliced fruits into the picnic basket. Amanda said she'll be bringing rice and side dishes for the picnic, Canadian foods style.
I wore a simple but a nice outfit for the picnic.
I never wear shorts or t shirts neither crop top or any outfits that shows my belly or legs, even at home.
I opened the closet to search for Daniel's clothes. I picked the orange, grey sleeved sweater and ironed it.
Daniel has finished showering and dried his hair out of the bathroom, with his jeans on but shirtless.

I went out of the bathroom and saw Julie ironing my sweater. I've been thinking this since I've been living here.
(a/n He's been living with Julie at her home since her mother was admitted to the hospital last few months ago. Nevertheless, he also went back to his parent's house or to his friends' house whenever Julie's father said that he's not going to work or visiting Julie's mother at the hospital.)
She's a perfectly taught girl in my eyes. She can cook, she can do house works, she can do everything to do with her mother at the hospital and she's also a great daughter to both of her parents.
Not to mention her personalities. She's kind, sometimes witty, a bit too honest, she can't lie , lovable and she's very polite to the others.
No wonder I'm really in love with her. I love everything about her. She'll be a great wife and I wish the best for her future husband if it wasn't meant to be me.
I was standing still watching her ironing. I walks toward her and hugged her from her back, wrapping my arms on her waist and leans my head on her shoulder. She didn't whine or feel distracted or feel the atmosphere is too narrow for her to move.
I kissed her neck up to her cheek softly and I saw her smile. I look up at her and she turns her head facing me showing her smile on her face and immediately smashed her lips against mine.
(a/n Smoosh smoosh for a while, not forcefully or deepend for a long period of time, no no dirty mind yet, but there'll be a bit dirty and cringy chapter, soon :)) )
I put on my sweater and went down stairs. Julie's making sure the kitchen's door, windows and living room entrance were locked, stove was closed, and all electricities were powered off.
It sounded her doings were like we're going for a trip, but this is how we usually are when it comes to the house's safety.
"All done?" I asked, picking up the bags and grabbed the car key.
"Mhm, let's go," she said, glancing at the mirror one last time to repair her hair.
We bid goodbye and Amanda arrived right on time. Julie kissed my cheek and I drove away.

With an excited heart, I opened Amanda's car's door and screamed, "Oh my god, My Salamander! Long time no see, sis! I miss you so much!", and hug her tightly.
She hugs me back and said, "I miss my Iguana more!", she broke the hug and said, "Are you ready? Let's go!"
I energetically said, "You make me feel so high, I'm feeling so energetic! Let's get it!"
Along the way to the park, I turned on some musics and we did carpool. The car was filled with happiness and laughters. Awh, I'm gonna miss this moment.
We found a nice shaded area under a big tree. Amanda spreads the mat and placed our shoes at each corners to prevent it from folding in. I place the picnic baskets infront of us.
"Tada! Your favourite, black pepper soy sauce beef and chicken in spicy tomato sauce!" Amanda surprised me and serve the containers containing the foods.
"Wait, but you didn't eat chicken and beef though, how did you cook this? and what are you going to eat then?" I said in worry. The reason why she didn't eat chicken and beef is because whenever she eats them she said it made her mouth stinks or smelly, but she usually eats the fried chicken's crispy skin and beef burger. And, she also cannot eat seafoods like shrimps or crabs except for fish, because it makes her bodies itchy.
"I cook the foods for you and just tastes the broth if its good enough and I just have to check if the chicken cooked yet or haven't." she said with her hand swinging around.
"Here, you're having these. I made them just now in the morning for Daniel's breakfast and saved some for you," I said taking out a container of pancakes and bottles of syrup and honey.
"Awh, thank you babe," she thanked and had a taste of the pancakes as I'm eating the foods she cooked. It taste impressively and damn really good. I can imagine how good wife she'll be.
"These moments reminded me of us back in the days when we were in 8th Grade, our first meeting. It was when you're eating your lunch with these foods and you even have another container of pancakes," Amanda said looking up at the sky thinking of our memories.
"That was when you suddenly approached me while I'm eating alone, and since then we've became more closer to each other and we're like sisters now. I'm really glad I've met you before, you know," I said leaning my back against the tree as Amanda did.
"By the way, to me, the moment I really appreciate you was on the rainy day, when you made your jacket as our umbrella and you even walked right by my side crossing the grass toward the parking lot. You're such a great friend," she said looking at me.
I was day dreaming, remembering those moments and memories of us together, going through ups and downs together. Without realizing, I began to sob with tears and surprised Amanda.
"Awh~, don't cry. I'm really glad that it was you who I've met and spent my life time with you was such a bless. You are the person who I faught, being lovely and being dumb with. I told myself thousands of times that even though I have more other friends, but they couldn't be compared to you. Thank you, Julie," her words, made my heart warm and I feel like I'm the happiest person to have her as my best friend, sister, soulmate and as my source of life.
I hugged her immediately and said, "Thank you to you too and I love you, Amanda."
