Julie's doing her science notes in her room to prepare for the up coming assessment.

I went downstairs into the kitchen to grab some strawberries in the fridge and some gummies or jellies in the cupboard.

"Babe, here, have some," I placed the bowl of strawberries next to her arm.

She pushed the bowl aside and continues doing her chemistry notes but no words, not even looking at me. I pulled her by her wrist to sit on the bed.

"Hey, don't push yourself too hard. Take a rest and relax for a while at least," I said while feeding her strawberries.

"Thank you~" she replied with a big smile on her face, chewing the strawberries in her mouth.

"By the way, tomorrow morning, Amanda and I planned to go to the park for a picnic, and at the same time, I need you to look after mom tomorrow at the hospital for me. Can you help me with that?" She calmly said.

"That's not a big deal, though" I said confidently, looking at her in the eyes.

I made some pancakes for Daniel and packed some of it for the picnic. As I was preparing the syrups and drinks for Daniel, Daniel walks into the kitchen and sit on top of the counter in a half-awake mode, hugging his soft bunny cushion in his arms and blindfold on top of his head.

I placed a cup of maple syrup and a glass of cookies and cream milkshake on the dining table.

I walked into the kitchen and Daniel's still at the same position as he is just now. I went to him and cupped his cheeks.

"Babe, Wakey-wakey. Go and eat your breakfast, but rinse your mouth first, it stinks, go," I said, giving him smoosh(es) on his lips and walked away to take the utensils.

He walked toward the dining table and opened his eyes, searching for something which seemed to be missing.

"Where's my jelly (sweets)?" the first thing he asked in the morning. I put few mini packets of gummy bears besides his plate.

"Have a shower after you finished your breakfast," I said.

"Help wash me in the shower," he said, making a cute face like a little rabbit.

"Don't be such a baby, you pig baby," I joked.

"I'm what?!" he said in English.

"You very very very handsome boy," I said in a broken grammar. (a/n cuz korean did that)

"I'm angry," Daniel said with an angry face but he's too cute that I want to keep him in my arms and give him showers of kisses.

"Okay, enough of that and let's clean this up and I got to pack some food for the picnic and you should take your shower and go visit mom at the hospital,"  I said, picking up the plates.

"Oh, right. Hospital," he said like he just remembered about going to the hospital to take care of mom and he went to shower in a rush.

The way he answered me was not as what I expected it would be. In my mind, the others would acts lazy, saying they're tired or being sulky . But he didn't. I hope his acts are all real, sincere and not fake.
