(Y/n)'s POV

Another day has come.

I found myself lying on Keigo's bed, again. But instead of being alone, I felt a presence behind me.

'Did a murderer enter the room?!' I was facing on the other direction of the bed so I had no idea who or what is behind me. Silently, I twisted my body to look at the other side.

Fluffy blonde hair and red crimson wings... oh, it's just Keigo. I was about to get back to sleep when a brick of realization hit me.

'WHY AM I SLEEPING WITH HAWKS?!' I almost jumped at seeing him. When did he came in?!

My mouth hung open as I stared at him. It's my first time seeing him sleep. His face was buried underneath the pillows and he was laying flat on his stomach. I'm glad I hadn't slept on his feathers. Who knows what will be his reaction when I did! But seriously, why am I sleeping with him? Did he bring me here on purpose?

His body moved a bit and I could hear his muffled voice underneath the pillows. I closed my mouth and moved a bit to let him have some space. I can't seem to get my eyes off his feathers. How would it feel if I touch them? The red feathers were so enthralling my hand happened to reach out for them. My fingers were inches away from his feathers and I could feel myself getting tempted. I used my index finger to touch a feather.

It was soft like fur and smooth like silk. I let my fingers trace down to his wings.

'So delicate,' I thought. (Any Taylor Swift fans out there? No? Okay proceed...)

I stopped touching his feathers when he moved again. He looks like he's about to wake up.

Keigo's POV

I felt alarmed when someone was touching my feathers. I was a bit groggy when I got up because of the lack of sleep I got from patrolling. Turning my head, I met a pair of curious (e/c) eyes. Memories last night came back to me. I realized I wasn't sleeping on the couch like I often did. I was supposed to carry (y/n) to my room and I was supposed to sleep on the couch. I guess I must've fell asleep after putting her to bed.

"I'm so so so so so sorry for disturbing y-you!" I almost jolted at (y/n)'s sudden outburst. She bowed repeatedly and I sweatdropped at her actions.

"No, no, it's alright," I ensured. She kept babbling about apologizing and continued to bow for about a hundred more. Two minutes later, I managed to calm her down and we both ate breakfast. She was still silent as always and I'm the one who's always initiating the conversation.

'Is she still thinking about what happened?'

"(L/n)-chan?" she looked up from her plate; her eyes held a droopy expression.

"Y-yes?"

"Are you still thinking about what happened?"

She shook her head and her eyes fell on her plate again.

"You know, you should try not to take things too seriously. It'll just affect your mental health."

"Ok... I'll t-try."

For the past few days, I never heard her say something without stuttering. She's always shy around people and she's lacking self - esteem. Is it normal for a person to stutter too much?

Breakfast came into an end. I gave time for (y/n) to prepare for the trip, while she was showering I prepared the clothes I'm going to wear. I left the t.v on because of how silent it was. Placing down my folded clothes, I listened to what the people on t.v have to say.
