Part 7

(Black Sheep's point of veiw)

"Oh hey Gray, what a surprise" If looks could kill, then let's just say I wouldn't be here right now.

"Not really," he said crossing his arms shooting daggers at me with his eyes. "Care to tell me why you're in my room"

I look around and realize it was his room, shoot! Not to mention I was wearing the coat, it's a good thing I had forgotten to bring the flowers with me.

"Or maybe what's up with the coat, or perhaps you would like to tell me what you're doing sneaking into the apartment in the middle of the night," He said anger and irritation growing in his voice with each word that was said.

"Well, you see it's a funny story, I- well you see" He grabs my wrist and pulls me into my room pushes the desk in front of the door.

"And don't even think about going through the window, know  sit and tell me what you are doing sneaking around in the middle of the night!"

I do, there was no getting out of this, what I didn't expect though was him taking a heart-shaped necklace out of the drawer, I had hidden the jelwery all over my room, of course, that was the one he happened to find.

"This isn't about me sneaking out you're just jealous!" He takes a step back trying to calm himself down it didn't work.

"V.I.L.E called in they figure out a way to still do the caper, that when I found it, how are we supposed to our jobs if you're always sneaking out I mean what are you doing, it's like your secretly working for the police or something!"

Low blow Gray, even for you, he doesn't stop their though.

"I'm always backing you up even when you do something stupid but you seem to never be their for me anymore you changed since graduation, you've become cocky, aggrogent, and overall a totally different person, your like you really not Black Sheep and actually is Carmen Sandiego, I want the old Black Sheep bac the one I fell in love with, not this imposter!"

"Fine! If that's really how you feel I'll leave I promise I won't bother you any more since I'm just wasting your time since I'm nothing but a nuisance were through!"

"Wait you know that's not what I mean I just got angry and-

"Save it, Gray, you made your choice Know I'm making mind you can ask the faculty for a new partner I'm going solo and you can keep your stupid necklace," I said ripping it off my neck throwing it to the floor.

"Come on just come down look I'm sorry were both obviously upset we can talk about this in the mourning," He said obviously hurt, but I didn't care because right knows maybe he was right maybe I wasn't Black sheep anymore.

"That's it! That's exactly it, you always want to be in control, always trying to make decisions for me I can't take it!" I said crushing the necklace under my shoe, tears know streaming down my face. I hop out the window never looking back and head to the park where I had met Wilbert, I see the roses are still their and with it is a note, I just crumple it up not caring what it said, not caring what the wourld wanted. I scream out in frustration and kick a tree causing leaves and small branches to fall from it, I sit down against it feeling defeated closing my eyes, just breathe Black Sheep, just breathe.

(The next day)

I wake up to birds chirping I think of going back and apologizing, I obviously overreacted, I can't believe I crushed the necklace he had given me, I loved it so much, hopefully, I could find someone to fix it, Wilbert seemed to be an expert on jewlery maybe he could- I groaned, Wilbert. That was how this whole mess even started, wh couldn't I just stay in line for a minute. I remember that he asked me to meet him at the cafe, what time was it? I check the pocket of my coat, right I didn't have my phone on me, not to mention a wallet. I couldn't just show up empty handed, I mean how pathtic would that look, though I suppose it's no more pathetic than the fight I had gotten into or sleeping in the park.
