Mia's P.O.V

| In Mia's apartment |

"Mia, your going to be late for your first day at work!"

"SHIT!" I exclaim, getting out of my bed.

I run into my bathroom frantically and get ready. As I put my long brown hair into a messy bun I look into the mirror and talk to myself as I usually would do - it's kind of a habit.

"Your going to be good, and your going to be fine"

As I walk in to Starbucks I am very nervous, I've never had a job before because I'd always been busy spending my time working on my grades.

A short lady with blonde hair walks up to me, she looks like she is in her late 40's. She had the Starbucks uniform on and her name tag had the name 'Julie-Anne'.

"Hello! You must be Mia"

"Yes that's me!" I tried to be as polite as I could be because I wanted to make a good impression.

"I'm Julie-Anne, but you can call me Julie. I'm the manager here at Starbucks"

"Pleased to meet you Julie!" I say still friendly as possible.

Julie gives me my apron and name tag, then shows me how to work the cash register. Then she leaves me to serve the customers.

The first orders are pretty tricky, but I manage to do my job well.

I'm just about to finish my shift but I very hot guy comes up to the counter and I can't say no to serving him.

He has blonde quiffed hair and electric blue eyes. He is wearing a Nirvana band t-shirt, and tight black skinny jeans. He also has multiple wristbands on both wrists.

"Can I please have a Caramel Frappè?" he asks

He avoids eye contact and he looks like he is in a rush, I wonder why?

"Sure" I reply "Can I please have your name?"
