Hey guys sorry I didn't update last week... last week I started packing up my house to get ready for the big move but I finally had time to publish a chapter and here it is

After the incident with Nikabrik and the almost return of the White Witch. Caspian was sitting alone outside staring out into nothing as he thought what would have happened if he was the reason she was to return. And other things that were plaguing his mind.

"Why did you never tell me about my father." Caspian asked sadly once he noticed his professor sitting bellow him.

"My mother was a Black Dwarf from the Northern Mountains." Cornelius started to explain causing Caspian to look at him in confusion. "I risked my life all these years so that one day... you might be a better king than those before you." He finished causing Caspian to look down with shame written allover his face.

"Then I have failed you." Caspian said also thinking how he has failed Nala. The second person who he trust the most he felt like he has failed her as well.

"Everything I told you... everything I didn't... it was only because I believe in you. You have a chance to become the most noble contradiction in history. The Telmarine who saved Narnia." Cornelius said looking at Caspian before looking back out into the field. "And I assume Nala would be proud of what you're doing." He added which caused Caspian to look shock at his professor having no idea how he knew about the true Queen of Narnia being alive.

As Peter sat on the broken stone table, he continued to stare up at the stone carving of Aslan and Nala. Peter was frustrated when Caspian said that Nala was speaking to him, instead of Peter. It frustrated him so much that he wondered, why? What was so special about Caspian to have Nala speak to him?

Peter didn't get it, nor did he understand. All what he wants is to see the girl he loves.

From the corner of his eye, he could see his younger sister, Lucy walking over towards him. He let out a small sigh as she placed herself down right next to him as she looked at what he was looking at.

"You're lucky, you know." Peter said, not even looking at his sister, who looked up at Peter with confusion.

"What do you mean?" Lucy questioned.

"To have seen them." Peter said referring back to the crossing when Lucy said she saw Aslan and Nala. "I wish he'd just given me some sort of proof. And I wish to badly see her again." Peter almost chocked out a sob at the mention of Nala.

"Maybe we're the ones who need to prove ourselves to him." Lucy said as she rubbed Peter's arm soothingly causing Peter to smile sadly at her.

"Pete. You'd better come quickly." Edmund said walking towards his two siblings.

All three Pevensie siblings ran outside on the upper levels to where Caspian was standing and looked out into the vast open fields.

Lucy couldn't help but to let out a gasp as soon as she saw what was happening. Marching towards them were thousands of Telmarine soldiers.

Peter took a quick glance at Caspian who did the same before watching as they marched forward.

"Cakes and kettledrums. That's your next big plan? Sending a little girl into the darkest parts of the forest? Alone?" Trumpkin asked after hearing the plan, not liking it one bit.

"It's out only chance." Peter argued, looking at Trumpkin.

"And she won't be alone." Susan said.

Trumpkin then walked up towards Lucy with glassy eyes as he fort back a tear.

"Haven't enough of us died already?" Trumpkin asked afraid for his friend.

"Nikabrik was my friend too. But he lost hope." Trufflehunter said causing everyone to look over at him. "Queen Lucy hasn't. And neither have I." Trufflehunter finished.

"For Aslan and Nala." Reepicheep said pulling out his sword.

"For Aslan! And Nala!" A bear said.

"Then I'm going with you." Trumpkin said looking at Lucy.

"No. We need you here." Lucy said placing a hand on Trumpkin's shoulder.

"We have to hold them off until Lucy and Susan get back." Peter said.

"If I may..." Caspian spoke up for the first time since seeing his uncle's army marching towards them. "Miraz may be a tyrant and a murderer...." Caspian started as he looked to his professor and mentally thanking Nala. "but as king, he is subject to the traditions... and expectations of his people." Caspian explained as he walked closer towards Peter. "There is one in particular that may buy us some time."
