Kelsey's day started off early, -8:30 to be exact-, she wanted to explore the camp, get to know a few people while being at it, and in fact she did. She went to the Camps kitchen to eat something since she did miss breakfast, but while at it, she meets Connie Torres. She cooked for the summer to let her daughter stay at the camp for free.

The teen did ask Connie if she wanted help preparing lunch but the adult kindly rejected it saying, 'you're young! Go explore while you can!' and so she kicked the teen out of the kitchen leaving her to just explore.

Now it was close to 12 and it was her first class of the day.

Dance class.

Now, dance wasn't a favorite ever since she was put into a class for ballet. She thought it was simple, twirl and jump were all she thought she had to do, clearly, she was wrong when she was given the lead role for q dance musical.

When one of the most difficult jumps approached, she failed miserably breaking her arm and spraining her ankle whence she landed, and ever since then she hated dancing with a passion, but as Brown had said, 'in order for you to stay in the camp rock you have to do dance classes.'

So here she was, standing in the corner of the room where they danced looking out the windows towards the lake. All the noises around her were canceled out until someone rudely screamed in a way that they sounded like a dying cat, only when she heard a grump voice that sounds both tired and annoyed, she found out who that person was.

The special guest she has been hearing so much about was known as Shane Gray. The heartbreaker of girls all around the world and quite frankly she was already annoyed by him.

So many girls were whispering and giggling about him, it had already given her a headache.

Shane had this look on his face that could be mistaken as a pout but she knew that look personally from her father whenever he didn't get what he wanted, it was the look of anger and hatred. It wasn't a very attractive look. "Quickly grab a hat, a mic and let's get started." Shane had started quickly, some people were confused about what he said until he groaned out and said it slower.

Everyone quickly got up, going over to the corner of the room where the hats laid, each and every person grabbed a hat along with a mic, and everyone went to their spots, Phoenix is in the front; she wanted to have a closer look at how Shane danced because she needed a closer look on how he moved so she can do it exactly like him.

Shane walked over to a CD player and slid in a disc, music began to play and he began to dance. No one moved from how quickly he was going and it seemed Shane caught on to why no one was moving.

He slowed down his moves for a second, and Phoenix was the first one to start, then a girl with long brown hair and then a few other people began to join. They all moved along with Shane and the music, some smiled and some kept looking at Shane trying to get his attention.

People were actually enjoying themselves and Phoenix at the moment was one of the people who enjoyed it until a girl purposely tripped a boy with braids, he looked down at the ground embarrassed.

The girl scoffed loudly; smirking. "Talk about making a different beat to the drums! " Everyone crowded around him. Shane shook his head looking at the Blond girl in disapproval. Phoenix looked over at the teen who was on the ground noticing drumming sticks in his pockets. "You play the drums? "

She questioned and the drummer looked at her before he took out his drumming sticks making a beat on the ground, She smirked and stood up helping him out. "Drummer has the beat controlled, they have the beat in their hands, now all we gotta do is take the beat from your hands to those feet. "

The drummer smiled and nodded his head, Phoenix patted his shoulder. "You have real talent, I see why you came here so don't let little girls put you down." The drummer smiled more before nodding. She gave him one last pat before he walked away, a few leaving to go eat or others just to hang out, everyone following the drummer neither less, the only ones who stayed where Phoenix and Shane.

It was awkward. Two young teens who knew nothing about each other, one in a grumpy mood and one who had a headache only moments ago.

"You need to work on your dancing more, your moves are sloppy and your body looks stiff." Those words took her by surprise, she knows it was true but she didn't expect to hear it from him. Shane looked over at her from the corner of his eye before walking to the other side of the room grabbing his materials. "Practice, I want to see you have a better moment the next time you come in here." and with that, he left.

She was utterly confused, who tells someone that their dancing is stiff and then leaves without any tips or advance on helping?

She scoffed to herself grabbing her materials and walking towards her own cabin wanting the day to be done and over with, she could tell it was going to be a long day.
