Your p.o.v.
You were shocked when you felt something push you. Or more like someone. You swore when you got out of this well, you were going to knock his lights out. Even if he reminded you of your younger brother. Your eyes became misty as you remembered your little brother.
*Flashback*
You were to young then. To young to realize that normal mothers did not act like this. They don't lock their children in a small cellar in the back yard and not feed them for days at a time. And when the two of you did get food, it was because your father snuck food out to you.
Your father was a very kind man. And also so very shy. Yet he still disobeyed your awful mother to help you and your brother. That was all you could ever ask of such a kind person. You didn't want your mother to treat him like she did you. Your father always let you out at night and trained you to use your family katana.
Until one night. The night that changed the very course of your life.
Your father had snuck you food again and as he opened the door letting the moonlight pour in, you saw a figure behind him. It slowly became clearer until the figure of your mother took form. And in her hands she clutched the handle of a large kitchen knife.
She slowly raised it over her head and--
*End Flashback*
"Hey! Wake up!" a unfamiliar voice yelled. You slowly regained your senses and felt a weight on your chest. Opening your eyes, your saw a young boy. With pointy ears and a tail? you thought. You looked past him and saw four other people and a small... cat?
"What... What's going on?" you asked. You slowly sat up and lifted the small boy and sat him to the side. You shakily stood and placed a hand on your head. It felt like something was trying to break through your skull. You took a few stumbling steps and felt your body numb and fell.
You crashed to the ground, and before you knew it you were unconscious. And in another dream.
