Your p.o.v.
You and Rin were walking ahead with Sesshomaru and Jaken following. Suddenly Sesshomaru stiffened and pushed in front of you. You immediately stopped and clutched Rin to your side. Sesshomaru calmly waited for the threat with a perfect poker face that you could never pull off.
You were tense until Inuyasha and Kagome emerged. You released a sigh of relief, but quickly sucked it back in when you saw the look on Sesshomaru's face. His face showed nothing, but his eyes were full of rage and sadness. You were sad that they had found you, and yet happy to see Kagome again.
You were just about to move forward and stop them when Inuyasha charged Sesshomaru only to get thrown to the side. You swiftly moved Rin and even grabbed Jaken before the three of you could be hit. You hunkered down to wait out the fight. You knew that you could help fight, but you knew that this was something that had to be duked out between them.
You sat there and saw Kagome run toward you. She looked frantic.
"(Y/N)! Hurry we need to go! While Sesshomaru is distracted!" Kagome whisper-yelled. She began pulling harshly on your arm and you gently pushed her away. You shook your head.
"Kagome I'm not going anywhere." you said softly. She immediately had a look of bewilderment on her face.
"(Y/N)! Are you stupid?! Come on we need to leave!" Kagome shouted. You looked over at Sesshomaru and saw that his eyes were slowly changing signaling that he was about to turn into his dog form. He must be really anxious about the thought of you leaving.
"No Kagome. I'm not stupid. I realize that you might not want to leave me with Sesshomaru. I truly do. But I love him." you said quietly. Kagome paused and you continued. "I love him, and I want to stay with him."
"A...alright." Kagome said. She turned. "Inuyasha! Stop, we need to leave right now! Inuyasha! Sit!" Kagome yelled. Inuyasha's eyes widened and he crashed into the ground. Kagome turned to leave, but you quickly pulled her into a hug. She was surprised but hugged you back nonetheless.
"Kagome, make sure you visit me soon okay?" you whispered in her ear. Kagome nodded slightly and you sighed letting go. Kagome walked over to Inuyasha and stood beside him while he struggled to get up. Sesshomaru walked over to you and looked you over for injuries. When he saw that you had none, he swiftly pulled you into his arms.
You could see over his shoulder and saw the disbelieving look on your friends faces. You just smiled at them. You puled away from Sesshomaru and began to walk over to them.
It all happened so fast.
A gust of wind.
A hand.
And a sudden pain.
You looked down and saw a female hand. Covered in your blood. And driven through your chest
