Being away from Camila was hard, but it was especially hard when you had a bad day, or in your case a bad week. It felt like everything was going wrong and now it felt like the world was crashing down around you. To make matters worse, you just got a phone call from your mom letting you know that your dad wasn't really doing well and the news hit you hard. Your head was buried in your pillows, tears streaming down your face as you tried to catch your breath. It really felt like the whole universe was against you at this point and all you wanted was to be wrapped up in Camila's arms.

Your phone rang making you snap out of your thoughts. You saw it was Camila and you hesitated to answer, not wanting to worry her with how upset you are but you knew it would only worry her more if you didn't answer. "Hello?" "Hey y/n. How are you?" You sniffled, clearing your throat and trying to hide the fact that you were just crying. "I'm okay." "Are you sure? Are you crying? Honey, what's wrong?" Her words and soft voice made you break down, sobs escaping your mouth as you gasped for air. "Everything feels like it's going wrong. I've had a really bad week and now I just heard that my dad is really sick and I-I'm scared." "Oh sweetheart, do you want me to come home?" "I-No, you have shows to do and places to be-" "y/n nothing is more important to me than you. If you need me to come home then just say the words. Say it y/n and I promise you, I will book a flight home right now." You hesitated, biting at your lip so hard you were worried it might bleed. As much as you didn't want to feel like a burden to her, handling this situation with your dad on your own was a lot to take in and honestly, you need her. "Can you please come home?" Camila paused before speaking again. "Absolutely y/n. I'm gonna book a flight home right now Okay? I'll be there in the morning. I promise. Now I know you must be exhausted so try to get some sleep, okay? For me?" "Okay. I love you." "I love you too. I'll see you soon babe."

You hung up the phone, taking a few deep breaths before managing to smile a little. She was coming home and she'd be there by your side through whatever happened next.
