Past the wall

"Yeah yeah... we'll wait for some tea~" Minna winked at me and the doors closed leaving an awkward silence between me and him.

~

"We'll have the practice room to ourselves" and I walked directly to the earlier mentioned place and sat on the synthetic floor, mid of the large hall. He followed and slid a chair in front of me and occupied it, staring out the window. What? Is that a new way to intimidate someone? Won't work on me anyway-

"We're in the room, you can take the shades off now."

"I don't think that's something I need your permission for." I'm being a bitch- ugh. Well, he's wearing a sweatshirt, dude it is summers for god's sakes. I walk up to the switchboard trying to turn fans or air conditioner on but to no avail. "These aren't working' I mumble as I graze my hands from my lower back-head collecting my open hair to a relatively top area to tie a high pony. I turn around and he was shuffling in his seat, still focusing outside the window. I sit back at my previously occupied place crossing my legs and looking at him intently. "You should take that warm thing off or you'll perspire in buckets in a matter of time" I suggested as I took my glasses off and looked back at him.

He turned his head to fix a gaze in a jerk "I don't think-" that's something I need your permission for. He looked away in frustration that was reflected by the frown that settled on his face and made him look like a fussy kid- just like last evening. Adorable~

I didn't take those off because he asked me to, but just because I wanted to... SUUURRREEE GIRL! But one thing was sure that he stopped halfway from spitting out the same rude remark at me which he shouldn't have refrained from because 'he likes to make people get a taste of their own medicine'. There could be one of the two possibilities or even both of them as to why he bit his words down. One, I took my shades off (something he asked me to do... or maybe just suggested me to) and two, my eyes were puffy indicating that I cried (probably because of yesterday- which I actually did). He was no more smirking or 'head-in-the-air' haughty types, rather a tad annoyed as if repenting or annoyed at some realisation as his eyes had softened? Can't be-

"I can't sit on the floor since my knee hurts due to yesterday. Don't think too much."

He reads minds too? Good for him- "I wasn't-"

"And it's because you're too easy to look through... I can't read minds and stop denying the facts."

Annoying. What does he mean he can look-

"You'll know someday if we end up being in contact for longer than just a week."

Well, that won't happen so we should just talk about-

"About yesterday... " Shifting his eyes to mine and his 'evil' expression was back again as a smirk plastered his face "I am not the one at fault."

"Pfft- are you sure about that?" I raised an eyebrow at him in utter disgust.

"You heard me" and looked out the window well, again with that bored expression. Damn what was even there that he has been watching so intently?!

"So this is why we were given a week-" I mumbled under my breath.

"What makes you think you can make me falsely admit that it was my fault, when it wasn't?"

"Falsely? That sounds funny, really."

"Oh yeah?" he bent low on his chair, torso supported by the elbows that firmly rested on each thigh of his.

"OH YEAH. Because I remember asking you to help me out telling exactly what went wrong."
