Chapter 2

    After what feels like an hour, there's not even one sign that they're reaching to the place that they hoped for but instead they stumbled upon stranger's houses. Row of row of houses but to no avail. Felix end up bowing and apologizing to the residents with a weight on his back, Le'veon. One couldn't imagine how much torture he went through.

   What puzzled him is that, the residents are quite...unique. All of them seems to have the same physical appearance, dark circles under their eyes ; maybe a sign that probably didn't have enough sleep but it's just Felix's guess. Their lips are dry as well as their skin.

   When Felix knocked the first house, a man probably in his late 20 come out with a hesitant walk, scared as if he's going to be murdered. He looks timid and didn't speak much. After Felix apologized, Felix expected to be scolded but instead the man dissapeared within his house and shut off the door. Felix just stood there in confused. This goes on with other residents as well.

        Felix didn't thought much of it as he have much greater responsibility on his shoulders, which is to save Le'evon but he will surely keep that odd expereince in his mind. Who knows if it will become in handy later?

       Now that Felix thought about how odd the residents are, even their surroundings are odd. Old and shabby houses that Felix thought it was abandoned houses at first. There are barely any people on the street. Even if there is, they would seemingly look like an empty hollow with slight smile that made Felix's skin crawled. Felix didn't have that much courage to ask them because his fears overpower him. As he walks, He feel the eyes following him but tries to ignore it.

    Meawhile Le'veon kept on pointing in wrong directions which have become rather annoying at this time but he himself doesn't even know the right direction so he just obeys what Le'veon pointing at.

      A familiar sense came into him and he stopped for a while. He have been here before. But when? Rather become pleasant about it, Felix felt the anxiety gushes into him. Somehow he felt uneasy and wanted to get out from that street as fast as he could. It terrifies him to the point his legs are trembling out of fear. A mix of emotions came into but mostly it's fear and anger. He takes a breath and shakes his head, pushing away all the negative feelings residing in his thoughts and he continues to walks, hoping to get to their destination.

     Felix may not know this but Le'veon felt the same emotion with him. It's only possible because now that he have become Felix's master he  owned Felix's memories. The moment when Felix started to feeling such emotions, he saw a few of Felix's memory mostly what made Felix felt uneasy. It hurt him to the point that he wanted to cry, he never knew Felix experiencing such tragic past life. He couldn't help but to grunt as he clutch onto his chest. If Felix experiencing it, he felt it too.

      It's in the rule which if a powerful grim reaper took in a lost soul, they had to take care the responsibilities. A lost soul is only a lost soul when they had something that they didn't took care of when they are still alive. If so, why did they lost their memories? It's simple. When the grim reaper took their soul to the afterlife, they wept off their memories leaving nothing but when the emotions take over the lost soul, they started to regain consciousness and roam in the earth without any subtle reasons but only mere emotions to lead them to finding their lost memories.

      So when a grim reaper took in the lost soul, they had to carry a lot of burdens. They have to share the lost soul's memories but don't ever tell them about it in fear that they would become a vengeful spirit and cause harm to the living humans. Just consider the grim reaper taking in the lost soul are like a punishment because their job is to take their soul into the afterlife not helping them. It's pitiful as roaming on the earth as a lost soul or in easy terms, a ghost and become a servant of a grim reaper doesn't seem to help them at all. It's not like the grim reaper can help them, it's beyond their power.
