this morning, i came across half of the pendant you gave me years ago.
instead of leaving it there, i ran out of my room to find you, and shook your tired shoulders from producing so many songs.
"where's the other half of the pendant? i want to match these two together and never let them go alone, ever, again."
as you heard my question, you turned to me with a slight beam, even if you were tired, and stood up while holding my hand tight, giving me a soft kiss on my lips.
seeing your blonde hair and crooked smile illuminated by the beautiful sun rays upon the window panes, running through the soft messy sheets and through your papers, i giggled in euphoria.
"yeah, we'll never make them go alone again. i promise."
and i beamed with joy.
