Chapter five

No ones POV

"I think it's about time to head back to the Mystery shack guys" Dipper said, checking the time. "it's getting pretty dark"

Will nervously shifted on his two feet and slowly nodded his head. "G-good idea D-dipper"

"Aww" Mabel whined, stuffing more candy into her mouth that she won from a nearby booth.

"Where's Grunkle Stan?" Mabel looked around a bit in confusion, trying to figure out where their great uncle went.

"Oh" Soos waved her worries off. "Don't worry! He went back to the Mystery Shack an hour ago!"

"That's good" Dipper started to walk back. "Let's go than?" The others shrug and followed close behind him.

On the way, they took a 'Quick' Detour downtown, just so Soos could look at the parade of ducks coming through the town.

"Where did all these ducks even come from?" Dipper furrowed his eyebrows as he watched the ducks, why we're there so many?

Only the universe knew the answer to that.

Ducks POV

WE ARE INVINCIBLE! quack.

No ones POV

Will nervously hid behind Soos once again, the large round man didn't seem to care.

He was obviously taking pictures of all the flipping ducks, the sound they made was almost unbearable.

"Quack"

Mabel giggled and picked up a Duck. "They're so cute! I wanna keep it!" She showed the duck to Dipper.

"Mabel I think it wants you to put it down" Dipper deadpanned. "And no, we cannot keep it!"

Will looked up and saw a bunch of Geese flying up above, he flinched when one looked back at him and he looked away.

"I question reality" Soos said, he was also thinking about pancakes and why this chapter was so bird themed.
A Robin flew by, proving his point a bit more.

"Uh..." Dipper had finally gotten Mabel to put that gosh darn duck down and he was now looking back at the crowd of ducks. "We should leave now" he said.

The others nodded in agreement as they followed Dipper through the town and back to the Mystery shack, all unaware of the danger that may lay ahead.
