Chapter Eight

"A taco"

"No."

"A taco with glitter?"

"Mabel please. I don't want a taco"

"Than how about a nacho!"

"Stop"

Will awkwardly watched this conversation sitting uncomfortably on the couch. Well not that the couch was uncomfortable. It was the feeling that the two Gleeful twins wouldn't give up in trying to get him back. It terrified the blue bean to death. He glanced over at Wendy when she spoke. "You alright buddy? Seem a bit more blue than usual"

"I..." He couldn't say anything more than that, at least if he didn't want to break down in front of him. He tried to get other words out but nothing worked.

Mabel was the second person to notice something was wrong, her sad detector going off like crazy she bounced away from Dipper and startled Will by how close she was to his face. "It's time to turn that frown upside-down with-" she pulled out something from her pocket and tossed it in the air. "Glitter! Whoo!" Will blinked in confusion.

"Ah- Geez, Mabel I got glitter in my eye" Wendy rubbed her right eye with annoyance. "That hurts"

"Sorry Wendy, I was trying to cheer Will up"

Wendy sighed and ruffled up Mabels hair. "Geez Mabes, I forgive you but next time, avoid the eyes" She got a nod from the younger teen. "Good, now I have an idea of how to cheer our little ball of blue up"

"Oooh how?" Mabel looked at Wendy intensely. "Teeeelll meeee" Wendy motioned Mabel to come closer, once she did as told Wendy whispered the plan. Mabel nodded frantically. "Alrighty! I'll make sure Will doesn't move a muscle" she wrapped her arms around the Ciphers shoulders, confusing him even more. "Dipper I require the Detective Duck on the TV Stat!" Wendy chuckled and left for the kitchen as Dipper fumbled with the remote.

I wonder how our favorite blood craving spoon squirrel is doing.

"I HAVE SUCCEEDED! In running away" The army of ducks had been too much for the young squirrel so he bolted when there was too many to handle. In one piece too, him and his trusty murder spoon. "Darn I need to find my way back, those Pines will meet the fury of my ANGER AND VENGEANCE" The squirrel climbed into a tree. "But first, I must gather an army of spoon warriors!"

"Quack quack quack, quack." A duck nearby narrowed it's eyes as it whispered darkly before slowly backing up and into a bush. "Quack quack..."

"Carl! Stop bring so dark and mysterious"

"Quack!"

"Oh please, no one can understand your monologue anyway. They'll just be wildly guessing"

"Quack?"

"How can I understand you? Well I'm also a duck! With the mind blowing ability to talk, now let us depart. Quack"

"Animal crackers"

Will was still nervous, but the TV show and Mabel keeping him comfort was keeping him from having a panic attack. Still, he had no idea what Wendy went off to do, she went to the kitchen so maybe she was going to make lunch.

"Oh my gosh look!" Mabel bent down, picking up a glitter fork, she picked off a random sticker and then threw the fork outside the window before turning to Will and gently putting the sticker on his sweater. "boop, you are best boy! Best blue boy" Confused Will looked down at his sweater, noticing the 'Best Person award' he was still confused.

"It's finished!" Wendy walked in, holding up a blue cupcake with a fancy little icing bowtie on it. "The Will cake is done!" She obviously couldn't have made this by herself, she had Fords help, who stood back and watched.

"Will cake?"

"Yeah! It's made for you" Mabel picked up the cupcakes and then forcefully put it in Wills hands. "Try it, it'll make you smile~" that's all she wanted.

Hesitant since he didn't know it was poisoned he took a few minutes before slowly taking a bite, chewing slowly and savoring the moment for awhile. He paused to look at everyones eager looks before he spoke his opinion. "It's... good" he admitted, smiling awkwardly at them. Wendy and Mabel cheer at the same time.

"Success!"
