The flare up

School came fast the next day .I went through with my typical routine. There was nothing ever special about my days, It was always the same thing but today I was gonna be going for Anabel's birthday so I came back home ,picked out a dark blue hoodie and a pair of Jeans trousers ( not the most party-ish outfit but.. it'll do) . I grab my bag and head out to Jay's house first. Of course, he took hours to prepare,from jelling his hair to picking out the perfect jacket .He always said ," Have to look good for them ladies" . I would roll my eyes.All said and done,when he was ready, we went to Natalia's house. She was a Muslim and she always had a way to make hijabs look really cool.We got there and everything looked nice ,with the glow- in-the-dark chemicals and toxins that we really shouldn't be playing with, but who cares???Anyway,it's our life so... Everything seemed to be going great ,then,at the corner of my eye,i saw Micheal"..SH*T.."I cursed in my mind, forgetting that we were supposed to check out this same place. I apologized and we were cool .

Huge lights come on,"Good evening everybody " Anabel's boyfriend, James announces," Today we'll be playing mix and match " he says as he mixes two weird chemicals together , they made like a foam volcano. People cheer in excitement as some dude yells," hey! You shouldn't be wasting that!" It's the geek from school, Fred, everyone sighs " Well ,well what do we have here?" James says grabbing Fred by the collar ," Well,how do you like this?!",he said and grabbing a weird canister, he pours it's contents on him.Fred panics and tries to take of his clothes, he also starts screaming then we heard some bone cracking          _____.   *then it happened*_____                   he went wild, attacking alot of people, everyone ran. He then bursts a pipe and some weird gas starts leaking choking everybody till they found the exit. Everybody starts running as far as possible, then ,the cops arrive... Luckily ,we are in a friend's car heading home ,then I heard it,

It sounded like the biggest earthquake in history... The shock wave moved so fast and far hitting us from miles away and still moving .Cell service went out, so did all the electricity, I got home feeling so sore.         This was such a bad idea...
The whole house was in shambles... Everything was on the ground everyone was knocked out "Owwww!,"my younger brother said,his head aching.
Gabriel: What the heck was that?
"I'd rather you not know", I said to him .
"What about mum and dad? "
Gabriel:" they went out to get something"
"Did they ask of me while I was gone?"
Gabriel: "Nope! Just then the lights came back on,"that's great". I plugged in my phone and switched it on. Twenty texts from mum, her voice came through," Where the heck are you?" Then a call came in Mum I picked it,"Erick, are you home ? How are you guys ? "
"We're fine mum nothing to worry about."
Mum: "we'll be back in a few minutes"
She put down the phone.
"Well,mum said they'd be back in a few",I announced. We tried as much as possible to clean up the house  before they came in. Mum kept feeling us up for bruises and of course Gabriel had to take advantage of it to get attention. I, on the other hand,kept thinking of almost a thousand ways  this could blow up in my face.
