I got up bright and early not my usual I'd rather wait till am harassed before I get up act we went for a run before work out then advancement and after that combat class at least this time I could phase at will then finally the mental test our camp leaders explained" for this test you will be sedated and a mixture will be injected into you blood stream that will make you subjectives to mental invasion so that Angela here will invade you mind and set you against your grates fear which we will monitor from this computer screens
Then it hit me.I had no idea what my greatest fear was. We sat anxious and waiting as we heard screaming from the other side of the huge door then this girl Cathy she came out knocked out and the guards had to carry her following alphabetically this time I heard my name Erick I walked slowly into the room the doors were shot  behind me I layed down on the freaky Frankenstein table " relax" the nurse says injecting me at the neck Angela puts on a huge helmet connected to my seat and she says count from 10 , I start as they power up the machine "10,9,8,7,6 I could feel her invading my mind so I blocked her 'wait! What was I doing for that split second the helmet fluctuates I stop she continues to intrude soon enough I find myself in a room trapped I manage to body ram the door but it was dark and there was something in the shadows I found my way to another room my father was in the living room on his chair watching TV "Dad?" I called "what! Boy you destructive little ingrate you ruin everything you touch get over here and get your beating " he gestured to front of him i didn't move at first I had no idea what was happening he started to move towards me a belt in his hand I looked at the mirror in the living room and saw myself "fight" my reflection said as he rose a hand to whip me I caught it pushing him aside he got up like some zombie and came at me swinging left to right the belt in his hand ,Then,then I knew it wasn't real I ran towards the kitchen scrambling through the utensil drawer he dragged my feet I fell face first to the ground he  tried to strangle me I struggled reaching for a knife picking it up and slicing his neck I woke up gasping for air the nurse was staring
"What was your abilities again? "
"I phase mam"
"Would you mind explaining to me how you killed you fear, because most people usually evade you,you killed it and even gave Angela a bad headache"
I shrugged "can I leave now ?"
"Yes you can" I walked out everybody was looking at me I went over to where I saw my friends
Natalia:"your timing was impeccable! How did you do that?"
"I have no idea"
Jay:"Nice" I got a fist bump
Later that day we met at club zero which was a hangout spot for all the kids from all the camps it was far from the main school so our chips connectivity  wasn't as strong as when we were at the school so we could have a little fun I was having a drink at the bartenders table then some dudes from camp meta started a fight with another from camp Hyper it was a speedster versus a teleporter coolest fight I history they were tranquilized and carried back after they destroyed more than half of the club we were all marched back to our camp by our camp leader I always wondered why he was so strict I heard I few stories that he was branded and that was a thing they did to suppress our powers indefinitely it was being human again most people would kill for thatbut then you'll be powerless against superhumans ,how is he surviving ?
