Annika walked into their room holding a large cardboard box.
" Shiv, what would you do if one day I came home with 5 puppies ? " Annika had that ' I'm-always-innocent' face as she sweetly questioned Shivaay who was silently observing her and the box.
" What's in the box ? Annika." Shivaay questioned suspiciously. " I think you know." Annika answered as placed the box down and opened it to reveal 5 golden retriever puppies in it.

As soon as Shivaay seen them, he freaked out and jumped up on the bed while Annika rolled her eyes at his reaction.
" AMNIKA, TAKE THEM. YOU KNOW, I'M ALLERGIC TO THEM."
" Come on, Stop that allergy drama. I'm fully aware of the fact that you aren't allergic to them but just scared of them."
" BUT STILL-"
" Shiv, Shut up and look at them. They are so adorable. Come here and meet them. Stop running away, they are not going to bite you, pinkie promise." Annika loving coaxed Shivaay as she pulled him to the puppies.
She made him sit down on the floor and one by one, placed them in his lap. She slowly left the room without Shivaay's notice and returned back an hour later only to find her husband giggling as he is being loved by their new children in form of licks and nibbles.
And that's the story of how Shivaay and Annika became a family of seven from two. _______________________
