Kiyla: Mind (ON HOLD)

Secret Pt 2

The trucks deployed and Christina and I followed the ones going to Manhatten with Robin and Superboy.

"If dislike is the opposite of like, is disaster the opposite of aster?" Robin asked us. I looked at him as if he was on something. He caught my look then quickly explained. "See, instead of things going wrong, they go right."

"Oh, so like the opposite of mad is ad," Chris said, partially understanding his explanation.

"No Chris, think of it like if dislike was the opposite of like then priority is the opposite of ority," I told her. She looked like she understood now. "So Manhatten is the oppo-" "No" I cut her off.

My attention was turned to SB as he bitched. "-And what business does she have teaching combat skills to a guy with super strength?"

"Taking down stronger guys is apart of the gig," Robin told him.

"And whining about losing to a 7-year-old isn't. Even though if you were listening you could've beat her easily." I said. He growled at me and revved up.

"Don't you think you were a little mean?" Robin asked.

"Nope"

"Kiy!" I looked over to Chris who signaled to the truck. A bunch of annoying ass monkeys was on it! I sped up to them and jumped on. Once on I saw a bunch on top trying to get in.

"Hey!" They continued laughing. I got a pole from my bag and got in my little stance. "I said hey you headass monkey's!" They continued laughing but turned their attention to me, Superboy and Chris, who were on the truck now. I looked to her and she grabbed one of the bars off the truck.

I swung at the monkeys as they started attacking. One was hit left another right several were stomped or stabbed in the eye. I started losing control of the fight when one of the robots shot lasers out of its eyes and it hit me in the arm.

 I stopped fighting for a second to grab the wound which was a mistake. The Monkey's used that advantage to grab and throw me off the truck. Just less then a minute later the truck had lost control giving Robin and Chris a few seconds to got off before it did multiple flips landing on the top of its self.

SB didn't get off and pushed the truck off himself before following the truck. "Sis I'm going to follow him." Chris shouted before jumping up and grabbing his shirt. 

"Wait!" I ran trying to catch up but they were already gone. "I'm sure he's going to take good care of her." Robin said trying to comfort me. I looked up at him "He better." I whispered.

Chris POV

SB jumped on top of a moving train and tore it open still oblivious to me being on his back. He jumped down and we were greeted with a smiling red-haired man.

"Oh hello." He said with a grin.

"You? You're Ivo? I'm whelmed." SB told him. "You're one to talk. Now since when does the big blue boy scout have a brat?" Ivo paused and looked at me. "I apologize. Two brats" I felt Superboy lose tension and that's when he noticed me. 

He yanked me off his back by my shirt then asked "How the hell did you get here?" I shrugged "On your back obviously." He put me down "Don't do anything stupi-"

"SUPERBOY!" I shouted. He turned and got a blast in the face. I saw that Amazo I'm guessing had attacked and before I could grab a weapon Amazo grabbed my arm and threw me!

I was able to grab an inflatable boat from my bag, but couldn't inflate it in time. I crashed through a roof clenching my eyes from impact and just as I was about to hit the ground I didn't. Looking down I saw I was floating. I was going to gasp when Superboy came crashing down on the bleachers. Guess we were in a gym.

He was still angry, yet when he looked at me he gasped....just to get hit by Amazo. I lost focus and fell to the ground. I saw SB continue to fight Amazo and yell my name. I tried to tell him I was fine and blacked out.

"Dads Dead"

"Alive a I'm"

"Still and is"

"Coming message this is"

"War"

I woke up in the cave with a bandage around my head, one massive headache, a crying sister and a concerned team.

"Hey" I called out weakly. My sister was sobbing to hard so Robin tapped her. She looked up and came at me in seconds.

I was embraced with hugs, 'are you okay's and smiling. 

"Superboy said you dropped at least 30 feet. We thought you weren't going to make it" Aqualad said.

"You guys have to leave we still need to do some more checks," Batman told us as he walked in. Everyone slowly left and KF gave me a thumbs up.

SB and sis stayed back. "You two have to leave as well." He stated. Kiy looked at me, held my hand then started heading to the door. She saw SB not leaving and waited.

I looked at him and grabbed his hands. WHispering I told him "You say nothing." He nodded and left with Kiy.

I laid back as Batman flashed a light in my eye. I knew I couldn't tell Kiy.

Because I have a feeling.

I think I'm getting better with the writing and you can see some suspense and mystery building up. I'm sorry for being a day late, but I got back from NY and was too tired and felt rushed so I waited for today.
