(Hey! So I added a song for you to listen too. This is the song that Moony sings in this chapter. I made the song myself, and I sing it. I would love for you to listen to it! My voice sucks, so I'm sorry as well..... Anyway, Thank You!)
Moony went into her tent and sat down. She was silent. She didn't know what to do. She went out into the woods by herself to think. It was the middle of the night, and that was when everything was quiet. Moony went deep into the forest, and walk on and on. When she came to a clearing of beautiful Lillie's, she stopped. She walked into the middle of the clearing, and cried. She cried until she couldn't cry anymore. She didn't know what to do. With tears streaming down her face, eyes stained red, she silently looked into the moon. She was like the moon in so many ways. Like the moon, she was an enigma, lost and alone in the night. She had nothing to say. All she could do was sit, and stare at the Moon. She wanted to say something, but what? She felt that if she betrayed her family, they would hate her more than they already did, but she couldn't leave her friends either....
In times like this, she sang to herself songs that she made up herself. She didn't care what she sang about, but she just sang. This was one of those times.
"In the eye of the pain and tears, there is silence. For a moment, you see the Midnight Sky." Moony began. "Through all the pain and tears, I always seem to survive. My pain couldn't die. What to do, what to do..... My pain couldn't die. I ran, as far as I could see. It's time to face, my pain and ternary." Moony sighed and continued. "In the eye of the pain and tears, there is silence. For a moment, the Midnight Sky. I ran for as far away as I could see. My friends told me, to let it be. What to do now....." Moony continued to sing until the song was over. Suddenly, she heard clapping behind her.
She turned around and saw Case and Sarah, standing behind her, clapping. "You have a good voice..." Sarah said, walking up to her and sitting beside her. "She is right. Why do you never sing to us?" Case asked, sitting on the other side. Moony remained silent. She was to upset to say anything. No one said anything for awhile. They all stared at the sky, laying down on the soft grass. "You know, we are here for you. We care about you, you know that, right?" Both Case and Sarah asked. Moony paused for a moment and sighed. She got up and began to leave. Before she left though, she looked at them and sighed once more. "No, I don't think you do...." She turned around and began to walk away. "I don't know anything anymore" Moony said finally as she left, leaving the two sitting in the meadow of Lilies...
