Destiny
We walk into his house. "Let's get you cleaned up" I say noticing a few cuts on his perfect fa- his face.

I walk upstairs with him following me and into the bathroom. "Sit" I say pointing to the counter as I grab the first aid kit.

I take out the cleaning stuff and cotton pads. "Okay this is going to sting" I say and press it on one of the cuts. He stays still and looks at my concentration face as I clean every one.

I then grab a cream thing and run it on all the cuts I finish and lock eyes with him and realise our faces were extremely close, I got butterflies. I never realised I felt this way towards him until now.

His eyes flickered to my lips and back up we started leaning in until the gap was closed and our lips touched. They moved in sync gently. We pulled away and we had the same expression of shock.

"I-I'm-Uh-I'm just gonna go home!" I say and rush out of the house. What the hell just happened and when did I catch feelings for my bestfriend?! I walk home with all these questions flooding my mind.

I got so frustrated and confused that when I got home I just fell asleep there and then fully clothed. On my floor

My alarm blares through my room. I groan as I remember yesterday's events. I jump off my bedroom floor and get a shower.

I then put on:

I do my makeup but a little more then usual not Impressing anyone in particular (😉). I grab my phone and bag and head out.

I see his car and hesistate but I get it anyway. "Hey" He says driving off. "Hi..." I say quietly. The rest of the ride was an awkward silence.

We arrive to school and I jump out as fast as I could avoiding his calls. "Destiny we need to talk about this!" Ignore him and spot Leilani and run over to her.

"Hey des was wrong girl?" She asks. I tell her everything including my feelings towards my bestest friend in the world. She sighs and hugs me. "It'll be okay" she says

We walk into 1st period. Literature ugh. We head to the back row once again and sit down. I hear the door go and a busted up Nathaniel walks in he glares at me and walks to his seat.

"Damn Elmo busted him up real good huh?" Tessa says entering the class and sitting down beside me. I nod my head and class starts.

It's now lunch. Me and the girls sit at our usual table. I watch as they eat their food and laugh. "Des you not eating again?!" Holly scolds. "Shh I'm not hungry" I say. She shakes her head. "I'm not going to watch you fuck up your body" she says quietly.

"I'm sorry" I whisper and she hugs me tightly. I look behind her and see Elmo looking at me confused he then looks down to see I'm not eating and makes his way over. "Oh shit I'm busted" I say.

"Destiny?" He says lifting one of his perfect eyebrows. "Mhm?" I mumble. "Where's your food?" He asks. "Not here" I say rolling my eyes. "If your gonna be like that don't expect me to be the one sitting with your weak body in hospital next time" He says and walks off.

My eyes well up with tears. I run off to the bathroom noticing Elmo making out with some slut right outside making me cry even more.
I sit on the bathroom floor crying. I don't want to lose him. Not now,not ever.

I hear the bell go for last period but I just stay there.not moving, not making a sound. Just staring at the wall thinking about life and my new found feelings for Elmo.

Elmo
I didn't mean to be so harsh. I can't lose her. I don't regret that kiss, truth is I do have feelings for her but I'd end up ruining things or hurting her and I can't do that. Not to her

After I left I saw kayley, she's just a school slut that I've messed around with many times before. I walk over to her and kiss her i was so mad to realise what I was doing.

I notice Destiny leave the cafeteria crying and she pauses once she sees me then runs off crying even more. What have I done? I shove kayley off and walk to last period.

I walk in to see no sign of Destiny. I earn a looks of hatred from her friends. I sigh and sit down in my spot. "Sir may I go to the bathroom?" Leilani asks. The teacher nods and she turns to me.

"I gotta go fix your mess once again.." she says and walks out. I don't mean to keep hurting her. I have a reputation to keep up and sometimes I don't realise how much of a dick I'm being.

Destiny
I hear the door open and Leilani walks in and plops herself beside me. "Go Awayyy" I whine. "Naw What kind of bestfriend would I be?" She nudges my shoulder making me smile.

I hear my phone ring. I answer and put it to my ear.
Phone call
Me: hello?
Luhkel: it's luhkel, Destiny
Me: what's up brother dearest?
Luhkel: I'm coming home des I'm out
Me: are you serious?!
Luhkel: Yeah carebear I'm back.
Me:omg this is amazing. Do you need picking up?
Luhkel: nah I'm already on my way.
Me:okay I can't wait to see you
Luhkel: neither can I I'll see you
Soon bye.
Me:bye!
End of call
I can't believe my brother is coming home! He's been in prison for a year. It wasn't his fault he was protecting me and our cousin Malia and someone got shot and he got the blame. I don't know how he got out but he has!

"My brothers coming home!" I say in disbelief. "What?!" She says as surprised as I am. "That's amazing des!" She says hugging me. "Hey let's go we only have 5 mins left of school anyway" I say and we walk out to our lockers.
