It's been a few days since I remembered that little thing.
I've remembered a lot more things now, only short term things though.
My friends haven't come to visit me though. I haven't seen that Elmo guy since I woke up either.
"Des come on we're going to get food" Jayde calls out as he's walking down the stairs.
I jump up and meet him at his front door.
He hands me my jacket and we set off to get food, which isn't that far away so we walk.
"Sooo McDonald's?" He suggests as we stop out side a line of fast food stores.
I nod eagerly. If there's one thing I remember it's how amazing McDonald's food tastes.
We walk in and stand in line to be served.
I hear people laughing. My head turns to where the laughters coming from.
My friends. They're sat in a booth having a great time together and there's this new girl with them.
They notice me and the laughter dies down.
I grab Jayde's hand and start to walk out. But leilani pops up in front of me.
"Hey des!" She smiles.
I give her a bitch look mixed with a hurt one.
"¡no me hables leilania!" I raise my voice (Don't talk to me leilania) using the nickname I've always used when I'm pissed off with her.
If your confused I'm Latina I did mention it before but in case yall forgot...
"¿Perdóneme?"(excuse me) She answers confused.
"¡no vuelvas con tus amigos, no quiero que te dejen afuera!" (No go back to your friends I don't want them to leave you out!)
"¿de que estas hablando Destiny?" (What are you talking about Destiny?) she asks already bored of the small argument.
"No los he visto a todos en una semana, esperé todo el día en ese estúpido hospital para volver y desconectarme para irme a casa, ¡pero ningún Jayde tuvo que desconectarme! ¡Solo sostengo a Leilania! ¡No tengo mi memoria! ¡Y ser abandonado por mis únicos amigos debido a mi memoria acortada no ayuda a que se alargue!"
(I haven't seen them all in a week, I waited all day in that stupid hospital to go back and disconnect to go home, but no Jayde had to disconnect me! I just hold Leilania! I don't have my memory! And being abandoned by my only friends because of my shortened memory doesn't help it get longer!)
I cried.i broke.
I feel Jayde's thumb rub the back of my hand comfortingly.
"Destiny nosotros-" (Destiny we-) she couldn't find her words.
I look over to the group and the only one looking guilty and not confused is the boy who claimed himself to be my boyfriend/bestfriend since we were babies.
so I guess he knows spanish because he definitely understood all of that.
I walk out apologising to Jayde for my outburst.
"I'm so sorry about that Jay I didn't mean to embarrass you"
"You didn't embarrass me des, I just didn't know you were Latina" he laughs.
"I'm Latino" he fesses up.
My cheeks flush red.
"Wait you understood all of that?" I ask embarrassed.
He nods laughing.

We ended up getting Taco Bell, which was gorgeoussss.
"What you wanna do now?" I as with a smile.
"I wanna take you to get your stuff from your hotel room, I mean it's not like your gonna go back to staying there" he chuckles.

"Excuse me but Um I forgot my room number can you tell me which room is under the name Destiny Mikaelson" I asked the lady at the hotels desk.
"I'm sorry mam' there is no room under that name" she politely says.
"The name Elmo... something?" I ask.
"Ah yes mr Elmo o'dwyer is in room 453 this is on the 3rd floor ms. Mikaelson."
"Thankyou"

"Here it is" i tell Jayde.
"This is the key" he passes me a card.
"You has it the night of the accident so I kept it safe" he smiles.
I swipe the key making the light turn green.
The room was empty, they must still be at McDonald's.
I grab the suitcase that looked like it was mine. I check the tag. Hannah rylee. I felt a pang of jealousy in my stomach even thought I don't remember this guy.
I grabbed the suitcase that's actually mine and the door opened causing me and Jayde to turn around.
"Destiny.." El said-I mean Elmo.
"Just taking my stuff." I awkwardly smiled before my attention turned on the girl next to him that looked awfully familiar. I kiss my teeth in thought
"We're gonna go" I pushed Jayde out the door and slam it behind us.
"Well that WASNT awkward at all!" I sarcastically exaggerated.
