Destiny
my hands get sweaty as silence take over the room. "about what Elmo?" i sigh. "about whats happening to us!" he raises his voice making me flinch. "sorry" he says calming down again. "I don't know what to say Elmo..." I sigh. "stop calling me that" he groans. "what your name?" I look at him weirdly. "you always call me El not Elmo" he says quietly. ohh right I get it now. "oh sorry..but I can't ignore what happened the other day." I say.
he gets up and sits infront of me. "why does it bother you so much" he says looking into my eyes. he moves closer to me. "I.." I can't find my words as our faces become centimetres apart. I begin to get deja vu as his eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips over and over until he crashes his lips onto mine. I exhaled deeply to the feeling of his lips on mine. I push him off. "stop doing that" I say, I can feel tears fighting their way out.
"why?" he asks confused. "because you just go round kissing all these girls and hook up with them then come kiss me and expect me to just allow it El I can't do it..." I say letting a few tears out. "don't cry...why can't you do it there's something you not telling me.." he says putting his hands on my face making me look at him.
"I can't..." I say quietly. "damn Destiny just tell me!" he says louder. I LIKE YOU! OKAY?! I'M FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY BESTFRIEND AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! MY FEELINGS ARE EATING AWAY INSIDE ME AND ALL I SEE IS YOU FUCKING THE SCHOOL! I scream at him and cover my mouth when I realise what just admitted.
"I like you too Destiny" he says after moments of silence. "What?" I say looking up at him. "I'm falling in love with you Destiny, your the only one that understands me. But I'm afraid, if I hurt you I don't think I could forgive myself ever and i don't want to lose you D." He says, a few tears slipping from his eyes.
"Hey. Look at me." I said walking over to where he's sat on my bed. He looks at me. I sit on his lap facing him with my hands on his face. "I love you...so so much, we can get through this. Ok?" I say looking into his eyes, I have no idea where my confidence came from. He nods. "I love you too Des. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks and my face lights up. "Yes! Of course!" I say crashing my lips onto his.
I heard the door open then voices. "Woahhhh" tessa says shocked. "What happened in here, we heard yelling like 5 mins ago!" Hailey said. Me and Elmo just laugh and get up. "Meet my boyfriend guys" I say and the girls squeal. "Take care of her or um you know what'll happen" luhkel says to him. "Of course" he replies looking at me lovingly.
"Okay we're going to head home Des" the girls say. "Okay loves I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask. "Em ya shopping remember? Playlist?" Oh shit. "Oh hehe forgot about that." I say scratching the back of my neck.
I run upstairs and jump on Elmo as he was making a TikTok. He posts it as it was cute. "What's up baby" He says making me smile. "Playlist is in 1 week" I say excited.

"Oh yeah you can meet the guys" he says taking off his shirt ready for bed. I just stare at his toned body and lick my lips. "You done checking me out" He laughs. "No" I say straight up. He laughs and we get into my bed and I lean my head on his chest with his arm around me.
"Who would've thought we'd end up like this ay?" I say laughing. "I know it seems like yesterday our families we're having bbqs together and we were having water fights." I laugh at the memories. We fall asleep in the warm embrace of each other's arms.
