I sat in the studio waiting for Luke to finish his vocals, while Micheal and Calum were at the cafeteria like always. I swear their appetites are endless. As I sat in the chair, scrolling through instagram and emails a notification from twitter popped up on my screen @River_the_coolest has tagged you
Huh that's weird I don't know anyone named River, could just be another fan girl but i'll still check and if anything maybe make their day and re-tweet it.
I opened up my twitter and looked at the tweet apparently I'm the bae ha ha and the picture attached. when I looked at the picture there was a girl in a pink beanie and a girl in a grey one, the girl in the pink beanie looked like she was Maria. while the girl in the grey was just.wow. she had long curly hair and a smile that lit up a room. She looked like she was laughing and her dimples were showing. Her beautiful golden brown eyes were simply mesmerizing and its like they were trying to tell me something. I had to know this girl.
"Ashton?"
Luke said,snapping me out of my gaze
"hey you ok dude you seem kind of distant?"
"oh yeah Luke I'm fine, i just saw a picture of this girl and she's really pretty"
more like beautiful
"oh really let me see"
I showed the picture and he smirked at the screen
"damn you're right they're both pretty hot"
My cheeks flushed red from jealousy, it bothered me when he said she was hot and I don't know why I got mad, I mean its not like she's my girlfriend, but for some reason, and I know its cliche

Rivers POV
I'm freaking out
"MARIA HELP ME AHHH"
"WHAT WHAT HAPPENED"
"LOOK AT MY TWEET"
I shoved my phone in her face and her lip started to quiver
"Maria don't you da-"
I didn't even get to finish my sentence until she started laughing hysterically at my phone.
"Maria this isn't funny!"
My whole face flushed beet red from embarrassment, maybe I was making a big deal out of nothing
"i its p-pretty fu-funny" she tried to say in between laughs
suddenly my phone buzzed and I saw that it was a twitter notification, great people are probably already pointing out that I tagged Ashton, well fuck me I thought to myself. But when I looked at the banner at the top of my phone screen, and my jaw dropped to the floor. Ashton tagged me in a tweet. I repeated what the banner said over and over again in my head
"m-maria -l-look" was all I managed to sputter out of my shocked body
"oh come on river I was just kiddi-" she cut herself off and stared at my phone in shock
"river open the tweet"
"but what i-"
"OPEN IT RIVER"
I pressed the twitter icon and I looked at the tweet ashton tagged me in it

We're pretty cool too you know @River_the_coolest
and the picture attached was Ashton doing the pose I did in the picture and luke doing Maria's
At first I just had my jaw dropped to the floor, then the more I studied the picture, the more I wanted to laugh, eventually I started to stifle a laugh then started laughing really hard
"RIVER WHAT IS SO FUNNY"
I showed her my phone and she instantly started laughing with me, but then I stopped laughing and looked at Ashtons face. He was really cute, his jawline chizeled and covered with stuble, His eyes pierced into mine and his smile was dazziling I felt something when I looked at his face
I felt a connection
