Author's Note

Hi! I never thought I'd still be on the process of editing this story even if I wrote it back in 9th grade and I'm now a Sophomore in College?! T.T

Anyway, I'm really looking forward into giving this book a justice after letting it rot for years. So, thank you, and enjoy!

Hannah's POV

"Oh come on babe, it'll be fun. Parker's a little awkward bug and so is Cataryna. Maybe it might even be the only way for them to have an intercourse?" I laughed in a little manner that isn't too lady-like upon my girlfriend's brilliant little idea.

She wanted her best friend to have sex with my best friend just because.

"Love, it's not in our hands whether they'll touch each other or not. Let us let them be, can we?" I say halfheartedly.

I just think it's crossing their boundaries and it's a really fucked up idea to have for your best friend who probably doesn't even want to get laid.

"Boo, party pooper." She says, getting her phone and visibly typing something on her messages.

It would be pointless to argue with her so I grab my stuff and stood to wash my hands on her sink.

Out of nowhere, she starts snickering like a little kid. I asked her what happened and she shows me her text to my best friend.

You: my best friend wants to have sex with you (~ ̄³ ̄)~

The fact that I have PMS tonight isn't helping my mood at all. I rolled my eyes in frustration and quickly left her room.

I could hear her chasing after me, but I ignored her complaints. All I wanted was some rest, and I thought I'd find it with her, but I was clearly wrong. I should've stayed with Cataryna instead.

As the elevator doors were closing, I nearly jumped out of my skin when a hand suddenly appeared between them. The elevator opened again, revealing a woman a bit taller than me, offering a shy smile.

I awkwardly returned her look and busied myself with my phone, opening three apps at once.

"Nice weather, huh?" she started, and her calming voice somehow soothed me, easing the anger that had been building inside me.

"It sure is, but I prefer it when it's colder," I replied, pressing my lips together. She nodded in agreement.

"You're new here, right? Are you visiting someone?" I asked, being direct.

She hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Just a lab partner, but I think I might have gone to the wrong building."

Parker is the only one in this building with science-related courses, so it's either her or someone from the actual building she's supposed to be in.

"Is her last name Parker by any chance?" I asked, noticing a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"Yes! Camila Demir Quirino Parker?" she said eagerly.

Hearing her mother's maiden name was the last thing I expected tonight. "Yes, madam. I'm her friend, but you might want to come back first thing in the morning since it's already past her bedtime."

Her jaw dropped in surprise. "Bedtime? It's only 9 PM, but okay."

I chuckled at her shock. It's always amusing how people are surprised that Parker goes to bed at 9 PM. I know someone who goes to bed even earlier, but that's a story for another time.

"Thanks anyway. I'm Jilliane, and you are?" she asked.

"I'm Hannah. My girlfriend is best friends with Parker. I'll let her know you stopped by," I replied, as the elevator doors opened at my floor. "See you, Jilliane."

"Buh-bye!" she waved as the doors slowly closed between us.

I stood outside the door, remembering that my best friend is fast asleep inside with her lover.

It would be rude to interrupt their sweet moment, so I decided I'd either crash at another friend's room or just spend the night at the convenience store nearby.

Is it the rush of my blood, my uterus, or am I just feeling a little too lonely tonight, not wanting anyone to comfort me?

Some nights are better alone.

Just me, the moon, and the rush of my blood inside my body.

Am I missing the person who used to love me, before Harriet ever did?
