In the morning, Abbie woke up in her bedroom. She was feeling so rested, that she couldn't believe it.
Il seemed to her that everything's looking better this morning.
'What happened last night?!' she asked herself like she was dizzy.
That boy... Jason Miller... was so cute and they talked on the bench and she felt so safe and a little happy, that she smiled! After her parents death, she smiled for the first time. 'There is something special with him!' thought Abbie.
She got up from bed and got washing. She saw her face while looking in the mirror. Her strange face. She never looked beautiful, she never saw herself that way.
Her traits weren't sharp, rounded off neither. Her eyes weren't hazel, but black neither. Abbie couldn't understand how could she be always in a balance. Weird. That's all she thought about her.
While getting to her bedroom, she saw her parents ex chamber's door open. No one visited that room since that day.
The sheets were still messed and the blinds were still half closed. She could feel her mother's perfume, even after all this time. Abbie turned her head and saw the small bottle of perfume on the toilet. She grabbed it and raised it to her nose. Her eyes closed and all the memories, all the good times, even if they're few, crossed in front of her face, like a .... film. A tear escaped from her eye. And another one, and another one.
Abbie opened her eyes, got in her room and put the small bottle on her table commode not because she would use it. She wouldn't, maybe just in very special occasions. She wanted to feel her mother close to her and maybe the perfume could help that.
Dressed in a sea blue dress, with her hair simply falling in curls on her shoulders, Abbie was walking throw rusty leaves.
'Dear autumn, please be good. Dear God, give me peace. Dear boy with curly hair and blue eyes, please don't disappoint me.' she prayed.
Right then, 'the boy with curly hair and blue eyes' came. They should've met here. She didn't know what to say or what to do.
Actually, she didn't need to do anything. His smile did it for them both.
