"What?" Trish said, dropping her jaw.
"I'm dating Ally." I answered, "Thanks for the interest but I think it's best for all of us if you just leave."
"C'mon." Trish said to her girls as they turned and walked away.
I pivoted back towards Ally.
"Austin..." she started.
"It's okay Ally. I know how much she gets to you. Why not reverse the roles for just once?"
"Right." Ally said. "Thanks for just pretending to be dating me."
I nodded.
I would pretend to date you any day, I thought.
"Well we should get back to the piano. This song won't write itself!" She said with an adorable laugh.
We walked back to the practice room and sat on the piano bench.
"How about we write a love song." I said.
"Yeah" Ally said
"Like the most rocking dancing love song ever!" I tried a melody in the piano.
"Oh. Well how about this for the beat." She played this chord over and over in different keys which sounded amazing with my melody.
"Perfect." I smiled at her.
"Now we just need words."
"I might have a few ideas." I've wrote this song before but not to a melody and this melody seemed perfect so I sang my lyrics.
