Love Conquers All (ON HOLD)

Wedding? Or Disaster?

Scylia yawned as she woke up, it's been four months after she arrived in Yulkuso. She stared out the window for a few minutes thinking of home, and how her parents were taking to her being here, even if they were coming for the wedding. She didn't like her soon to be husband, in fact she hated him, she had always thought that there were two races in the world; humans and her people, vampires, turns out how wrong she was. She had stumbled upon this truth unknowingly one day as she went outside for her daily walk. She heard the snapping of bones and low growls. She peeked around the corner and saw Digano shifting into a large brown bipedal wolf with a thick mane that covered his neck and shoulders, ivory claws and fangs, deep grren eyes, and muscular arms and legs. She let out a low gasp. Diganos ears perked up and he turned towards her, and he saw her, she screamed and ran.

"Scylia..." he called after her, she could hear him running after her. She reached her room and slammed the door and bared it with her wardrobe. "Scylia please open the door," she heard him say. She slide down the wall hugged her knees and cried.

Digano sighed its been 4 months two weeks and three days since he last saw Scylia, he yearned for her to be near him, but he knew she needed time to figure things out. The wedding was set for two days time. He hoped and prayed that it wouldn't end the way he didn't want it to. He stopped by her room and raised his hand to knock, but stopped before he made contact. He heard her crying again, as always, so he lowered his hand and left.

Scylia smelled him before he even stood by her door. She knw the only way to get him to leave her alone was to cry, and cry she did. She felt him tense outside of her room at her crying, then she heard him sadly walk away.

"I don't want to be with him..." she whispered as tears flowed down her face, "I will never love him,"

Two days later

The banquet hall was packed with people from both races to witness the wedding that would bring peace to their kingdoms. Scylia's mother was there with her fixing her green dress.

"You look absolutely beautiful in this dress sweetheart absolutely beautiful for ure wedding day," her mother said a gleam in her eyes. Scylia closed her eyes as her mother held a mirror in front of her. She didn't like how she looked, because she knew her mother, her hair would be in a braided bun her eyes would have drak eyeshadow and a bit of glitter, her lips would be a deep dark red her cheeks would have a bit of blush. A single tear fell from her eye.

"Aww my baby is happy that her wedding day finally arrived," her mother cooed, but no that wasn't the reason, she wasn't happy she was sad, sad that she'd be married to such a beast as he was. She heard the music begin to play and stood up.

It's time now, but can I go through with it, she thought to herself as she stood up and walked towards the door. The music swelled as she walked down the aisle her tears fell faster as she walked closer to him.

Digano smiled as she walked towards him. He held out his hand towards her, she grabed his hand and he lead her the rest if the of the way to the alter. She shuddered at his touch. As the priest began to recite the vows her tears fell ever faster and his voice became faint to her, the only thing she heard was, "Do you Scylia princess of the vampires....." and she was brought back to reality.

"NO!" she screamed, "I WON'T MARRY HIM!" She ran out of the chapel. Digano watched as she ran out and ran after her.

"SCYLIA!" He cried out after her as she burst through the chapel doors. "SCYLIA!" He called again as she shifted and took flight. "Scylia..." he whispered as he watched her go.

She flew towards the forest and landed near a cave. Reverting to her human form she sat and hugged her knees crying. She cried until she had fallen asleep, alone in the dark cave.

Digano sat on the edge of his bed, wondering what about what had just happened. Why, he asked himself, why on the day I'm. ..no I have to be patient I cant rush to do things, perhaps i did rush the wedding though, he sighed as he continued to ponder over the facts. He felt tears begin to fall, he lay down and closed his eyes as the tears fell freely.
