Scylia walked by Digano for the third time that day in the three weeks she had gotten back from the cave. She noticed that he stopped whatever it was that he was doing to look at her. She heard her name leave his lips but she continued walking away. Digano walked to her reaching out for her, "Scylia wait..." he barely got out before she slammed the door in his face. Digano sighed a tear falling from his eye. He clenched his fist as the tears began to flow freely.
"I'm nothing but an emotional wreck, what woman would ever want to be with me..." he whispered. He couldn't stop the tears anymore more everything had always went against what he wanted, nothing was ever right for him. He reached his room and flung himself onto his bed and cried into his pillow.
Scylia listened till his footsteps subsided. She leaned against the wall and buried her face in her hands. Tears slide down her arms, "Why does he persist, can't he see that I don't want him? Why does he even continue? Why can't he understand?" She continued crying till sleep overcame her.
