Shaila.

I jumped onto a roof of a small establishment about 20 miles from Middleton High. Probably a vault or security hold until Julius comes to claim it. Which he won't. I was in a car driven by one of Dranken's henchmen, and they were telling me to take it quick and easy. Duh. I always do. I looked through my back pack and glanced at my gadgets. One of the best parts about having my mom as Kim Possible was her collection of gadgets she had when she saved the world. Hair dryer grappling hook, laser lipstick, and a compact zip line. We got to the establishment and I stepped out of the car, ready for action. It was just a building hiding a vault. How typical. Too easy. I put my hair up in a ponytail as I looked around for any police or civilians. No one in sight. Perfect. I looked around for cameras and don't see any. Hmm just in case. I looked through my bag again and saw a stealth suit. I put it on making sure the black mask covered my whole face except my mouth and eyes. I go to the back of the building and see a fire escape latter. I quickly climbed it and jumped through a window it was next to. It smelled disgusting in here. Like rotten fruit and expired milk. I cover my nose as I walked through. I stepped carefully making sure not to make a squeak. As I opened the door to the stairs I saw two guards right outside the door. Damn. Guess I have to beat them up now. I took in a deep breath and burst through the door. A tall buff one came after me but I quickly evaded them making him crash into a wall. The slightly smaller one came after me, but I just punched him. Knocked him right out. He fell down quickly and looked asleep. I laughed as I went down the stairs. I thought they would have this place more sealed up. Guess not. I rubbed my knuckles I descended the last step and saw the old gray vault. It had rusty brown spots, yet the lock on it looked completely new. I walked over to it carefully and touched it. Should be easy to break into. I take a quick break for a second and allow myself to think. First day of school is not so bad except for being called in by Dranken. Boy was Zachariah a looker. He was so handsome, intelligent, and sweet. I smiled to myself as I thought about him. My mind quickly shifted toward Dranken's internship at his laboratory, which was his house. It was a great opportunity, but I wonder if he'll accept my application. I'm already working for him, perhaps he'll take that in mind. Plus I was the top of my class last year so that has to count for something too. Besides I wanted to be a scientist. But not a rocket scientist like my grand father. My mother said I should go into the medical field like her but medicine wasn't really my thing. My dad's a chef, but cooking isn't my strength either. Alarms go off quickly snapping me out of my thoughts. Damn it! I see guards coming from he outside window and I didn't have time to get the laptop. If only I didn't think so much. Dranken is going to be mad. As I ran up the stairs I tripped over something. It was a watch from the guards I beat up. I looked at it and examined it closely. It made a beeping noise. I looked at it again and saw the ticker was broken, I opened the watch and saw all these weird mechanisms that did not resemble that of a watch. A tracker of some sort. I looked at my phone to the coordinates Dranken sent me. We were played! I was tracking the watch the entire time! In frustration I dropped the gold watch and smashed it. I got out from the window I came through and landed safely on the ground. I quickly took of my stealth revealing the outfit I had on earlier to look as normal as possible. I carried my bag and passed by the now guard filled establishment. I contacted Dranken as soon as the henchmen picked me up.

"We have been played like a video game. The computer was never there, it was a cloaking device watch. We have to be careful. I almost got caught by a couple of guards but I got out undiscovered. They will never know who came in and out," I said and he just sighed.

"Return as soon as possible. Nice try," he said and I just exhaled.

"Thanks sir,"

"Just so you know. Your application is accepted. You are now a part of The Dranken Research Institute," he said then hung up. I cheered on the inside. Finally got my internship. Can't wait to start. It's going to be a good year.
