girls night 2

jennie stumbles back into the room with a bag which i suppose contains the nail polish and face masks. she sits cross legged on the sofa and turns down the movie a little; she opens the bag and picks out black nail polish and sparkly pink nail polish.
" would you want to have black nails with one nail painted sparkly pink, and i can have pink nails with one nail painted black so we can match ??" she says raising her eyebrows. 
"yeah that's sounds good" i say smiling.
"i can paint your nails and you can paint mine" she says whilst taking out the sheet masks too.
"should we put those on whilst we paint our nails or after?" i ask, slightly tilting my head.
"uhhhh, we should put them on now!" jennie passes me a sheet mask for hydration and glowy skin. i put on my sheet mask, as does she. she starts to unscrew the black nail polish and gently picks up my hand and placed it on her knee for stability. as jennie paints my nails she tells me more about her and namjoon's childhood, namjoon is 2 years older than her, but they have a good relationship. i tell her about my childhood and my siblings. she finishes painting my nails but, of course they have to dry! so we continued to watch the movie, jennie would imitate the characters which made us laugh a lot. after a while my nails seem to be dry so i start to paint her nails.
"what are your plans for tomorrow?" jennie asks, still focused on how i'm painting her nails.
"uh, i have things being delivered hopefully, i did order next day delivery" i curve my lips into a smile.
"so after those will be delivered, whatever time that may be, i will be unboxing everything and just sorting out my apartment i guess" i say with no specific tone to my voice.
"i can help if you'd like, i'm sure having company would be good?" jennie says in a reassuring tone
"we can blast music! it will be fun!" jennie suggests
"that sounds great! thank you so much" i say as i paint the last nail. i screw the lid back onto the nail polish container and place it in the bag.
"aish, i'm always so impatient for my nails to dry" jennie slumps onto the floor, eyes glued to the tv screen. i let out a slight laugh and slump down next to her. we watch the rest of the movie peacfully.
"what's the time?" i mumble as i stand up from the floor.
"it's 10:30 pm" jennie stands up too and stretches her back.
"we have had these face masks on for 20 minutes shouldn't we take them off?" i turn around to face her, eyes wide.
"oh yeah we should do that now" she chuckles and runs into the bathroom, i follow her in and take off the mask.
"woww Y/N your skin is glowing !!" jennie exclaims as she inspects my face
"thank you but it's all because of this facemask" i say bowing sarcastically making her giggle
"your skin looks so good aswell!" i say to jennie and inspect her face like she did mine.
"thank you, thank you" jennie bows sarcastically like i did. we both walk into the living room and sit down on the sofa.
"so are you planning to study? or get a job?"
"i thought about studying but i don't know if i want to go to school or if i could handle the work load" i shrug.
" i'm studying, class starts in 2 weeks, i think you should join with me! i can help you. plus i don't really have many friends, new school and all" jennie tucks a strand of hair behind her ear whilst looking at me with wide eyes, obviously wanting me to say 'yes' to her proposal.
"i guess, but isn't it too late? what would i even study" i think as i slouch into the sofa even more.
"i'm studying music, but the university has many subjects you could choose from" jennie states.
" do they have a philosophy course? " i ask, sitting up slightly.
"yes! do you like it?" jennie sits up with me, looking excited at the thought of me potentially attending her school.
"yeah it's very interesting to me, i've read books before and watched some youtube videos." i mumble before taking my glass of water and taking a gulp.
"let's sign you up now!" jennie runs into her bedroom and comes back with her laptop. she jumps back onto the sofa and immediately goes onto the university's website, ready for me to enroll.
"read the course and see if you would like to study! you can also join after school classes- non exam, just for fun" she suggests. after reading the philosophy course i am sure i want to enroll, i love the idea of questioning topics such as morality, knowledge etc. jennie helps me enroll, i also chose to attend night classes, art. i have always loved art, particularly painting.
"wow your so artsy" jennie teases me as i turn off the laptop and pass it to her.
" class is in two weeks, i need clothes! and stuff for studying!!" i start to stress realising i haven't got anything sorted yet.
"Y/N chill! we have 2 weeks, we can go on a shopping spree this weekend and get clothes and supplies so your all prepared. don't worry!" she taps my nose before yawning.
"it's 11:20 pm..." i say looking at my phone screen.
"maybe we should get some sleep? we have a big day tomorrow, sorting out your apartment and all, need that energy!" jennie brings out blankets and pillows and creates a massive space of what i imagine heaven to feel like, the softest pillows i have ever felt.. i melt into them immediately.
" i'm sure you will have plenty of energy no matter what" i mumble whilst i'm half falling asleep.
"ha..." jennie almost whispers, i look to my left to see her falling asleep too, making me laugh slightly.
"ah goodnight jennie" i whisper and close my eyes, falling into a deep sleep with a lasting smile on my face from the best first day i have had in this new city. i have managed to make 2 friends, have had a sleepover, and i was even productive! i bought groceries and ordered furniture for my apartment AND enrolled at a school!
