English is not my mother tongue, but in my opinion it is much more beautiful than German, which is why I decided to write this story in English.
However, I'd be glad if you'd correct me if you find spelling/grammar mistakes, or if you can think of a better structure for a certain sentence because the point of all this is to improve my language in English.

Preface
If the turbines of an aeroplane fail, the plane does not crash directly, but falls into a gliding flight. For about 15 minutes, the machine slides on the wind until it actually crashes. The passengers notice nothing of it. A gliding flight is a bit quieter, and often even more comfortable. None of the airborne suspects that they are facing a disaster until just before.
Let me tell you about my personal gliding flight, and if I managed to survive my crash.
