You cannot find peace by avoiding life

Gasping, I leaned against my knees.

"That was very good Anna. Work a bit more on your turns, then it should be perfect."

Nodding, I met my dance teacher in the eyes. My face was completely red and the sweat on my forehead slowly became less.

"I think you have enough for today." With that she shooed me to the locker room where I quickly changed my clothes. I looked forward to my warm cuddly bed and my laptop.

On the way out, I already spotted the brown head of Emily. She sat with her friends in the middle of the hall, laughed and ate chicken.

"You're not allowed to eat here" I said, heading for the small circle because the hall was also used by me and I preferred a clean floor.

"Duh, that's why we are making it disappear," Emily chuckled dumbly, stuffing more fries into her mouth.

"See?" The girl had less brain cells as a slice of toast.

"Jesus I was hoping I won't have to deal with you" Christina, also a friend of Emily, rolls her eyes as she sits down next to Emily. Emily and Christina were also elite people. Stuffed daughters of wealthy parents. At first I tried to become friends with them since they were the only other persons here, but for some reason they had a lot of fun getting on my nerves.

I was just about to answer, before I was interrupted.
"Miss Collister, are you ready?"
Moody, I followed Ethan, the group had already ignored me anyway.
