Zoey.....

"I am no longer bringing my credit cards to school. If Zach managed to use yours then I'm not taking any chances with Corbyn" Chloe and I are at our lockers literally shoving all of our stuff in it

Laina, Daphne and Haley went off to their classes while me and Chlo, are running late

"We still got 5 minutes to get to class" She checks her watch

"Ughhhh why only 5 minutes?" I whine "I'm still tired"

"You ain't the only one Z, quit your whining" Chloe laughs

"I'm sorry are you the one who was out with her bully and had to Uber home because he left her at a drive in movie theater?!"

"No but I have been thinking about....you and Zach's night out. What's the point of him asking you out anyway?" Chloe ask

"Like is that his big plan? To use your credit card so he could buy you your skateboard with your own money?" She raises her eyebrow in confusion "or leaving you in that theater his 'big master prank of the year'?"

"What? No way Chlo! His master prank last year to me was putting a DEATH RAT IN MY LOCKER! And let's go to the part where he purposely messed up my outfit that day so I could either have a choice of wearing my smoothie spilled shirt or my dead rat-smelling-extra shirt in my locker"

Chloe was so disgusted from replaying that memory that she gagged "no need to remind me Zo! We better get to class unless we both wanna be late"

"Alright, let-" I cut off

"Zoey!" It's Zach... "Get over here!"

I was about to walk to him but Chloe stops me
"Don't listen to him Zoey" she whispers

"Don't worry sis, I'll be fine. You better get to class"

"What? I'm not leaving you with him" She refuses to even let go of my arm

"Chloe it's either you go now or Zach will-"

"Zach won't do anything to hurt you if there's two of us!"

"But he'll get Corbyn and they'll both hurt us when they can today"

"Zoey...no you can't!" She holds my arm tighter

"Please Chloe, do it for me and the others. You gotta take care of your heart. We don't wanna take any chances"

After arguing Chloe let out a sigh and finally let's go of my arm. "Be careful, ok"

"I've dealt with him before, I'll deal with him again"

I walk over to Zach while she walks on the opposite direction on her way to class.

He just sighs in relief and says "finally I thought you would've never convinced her to leave."

"Cmon! Let's get out of here" He grabs my hand

"Zach! We have classes, I don't want a crime of "cutting classes" on my record!"

"Don't worry, we're both in the same class and I got a friend of mine in the guidance office to write us both an excuse letter. So we are both excuse until lunch"
