"What the hell is your problem with me?! I don't have any idea that I've done something terrible with the two of you because this is the hellish first time that I've talked to you in person!" Magkasalubong ang mga kilay ko habang hawak-hawak ang naninikip kong dibdib.
I stared at the twin evil brothers who were smirking at me as if pleased with my miserable face.
Pinagpagan ko ang madumi kong kamay at damit, habang nanlalagkit ang suot ko dahil sa dalawang magkapatid na nasa harapan ko. I was walking peacefully through our campus when they appeared out of nowhere and ordered some stupid students to throw eggs at me.
I was terribly confused and didn't know what to do. I was planning to continue my student life in a peaceful and quiet way, but these two that I've never met or talked to in person in the past just walked into my plans and mercilessly shattered everything.

"Why don't you just stop acting like a saint and don't come to this Helios University anymore? You're just making your life harder because of your pretense of being a good-natured shit, Abby." As he said my name at the end, I clenched both of my knuckles. He even asked about my name, eh?
Tumayo ako ng ayos at madilim ang mata silang tinignan. I've never experienced being so exhausted in my school year life.
"Again, I have no idea what you're talking about right now, because this is the first time that I am having a not-so-great conversation with you. And you seem to know my name even though I'm just a regular student here at Helios University, so it's kind of creepy to me. And lastly, you don't dictate to people, whether it's a kid or an old one, what they need to do because you're not even the one who gave birth and raised them, so please stop this. Hindi ikaw ang magkokontrola ng buhay ko," I said calmly when the other twin, who has dark messy hair, unexpectedly touched the collar of my uniform and forced me to face him as if he was just trying to pick a fight with some mobster.
Halos manindig ang balahibo ko nang magtama ang mga mata naming dalawa. He was so close to me and his eyes were emotionless. That gave me chills.
Nakatiim bagang ito habang paghigpit nang pahigpit ang kapit sa 'king kwelyo.
"You're annoying. If you're just a man, I would never to hold back myself from punching you," he brutally said it in a cold baritone voice. Ramdam ko ang sobrang higpit ng pagkakahawak niya sa kwelyo ko.
I'm starting to suffocate. Kung hindi ko lang siya malakas na naitulak ay baka hindi na ako nakahinga.
Is he really trying to kill me for no apparent reason? He's crazy!
"Crying, eh?" Pinahid ko ang luha na lumandas sa pisngi ko. I had no idea I was crying unconsciously. Because of the fear I was trying to hide from them, my skin became numb.
"I didn't know that a bitch like you would easily cry like this. You're an unbelievable fucking actress now."
"Hey Xero, Are you sure this is Abby?"
So his twin brother's name is Xero. Now I've learned something, not just their trashy personalities.
"There's no way in the world that she's not her, bro Zeno. Do you think that she has a connection?"
I was trying to calm myself when my mind became blank and I couldn't hold myself back anymore. I walked in front of the guy named Zeno and angrily kicked his balls.
"FUCK–"
His eyes widened at the sudden change in my attitude, even though I didn't know why I was acting like that, but the satisfaction I got after I made him cry out was refreshing.
Napangisi ako sa kanya. Serves him right.
"I'll kill you!" Namimilipit siya ngayon sa semento.
Walang emosyon ko siyang tinapunan ng panandaliang tingin at agad na tumalikod kay Zeno. Ngunit bago pa man ako makalakad papalayo ay may malakas na puwersang humigit sa akin na dahilan nang paghampas ko sa pader.
Napapikit ako sa sakit.
"I guess you're not pretending anymore. You still have this audacity to act recklessly in front of my brother. Well, not bad." He gripped my hair as he was making a big bruise on my left arm. Napahiyaw ako sa sakit. I've never imagined this to be worse.
"Know this, Abby: Play the game seriously. We're not here just to make you miserable, we're trying to destroy your life, so act as tough as you like and defend yourself. " He shoved me against the wall, oblivious to my outburst.
Hindi nakatakas ang luha sa mga mata ko. I'm starting to feel dizzy because of the confusion. I'm just an ordinary student here at Helios University and trying to make my school life as peaceful as possible, but why do I experience this kind of bullshit from people I've never even known, as if they know me as their enemy who did something terrible to them?
Wala akong balak na masama rito sa University kun'di ang mag-aral ng mabuti, ngunit ito lang ang matatanggap ko, ang ma-bully ng walang hiyang mga katulad nila?
Ibinuhos ko ang natitira kong lakas at itinulak ko siya. It unexpectedly happened that he was touching my necklace when I pushed him. My necklace that was given to me by my mom broke.
Nahigit ang hiningang napatingin ako kay Xero. My anxiety spread throughout my body.

Nakangisi itong lumayo sa akin. He smirked and looked at the broken necklace as if a brilliant idea had popped out of his head.
"We never learn, aren't we? Are you still going to be so reckless?" Hindi ko pinansin ang sinabi niya. I was lost in my anxiety. Hindi pwedeng mawala 'yon, dahil 'yon nalang ang kaisa isang kwintas na iniwan sa akin ni mama.
"Please? I'm sorry for what I did. Just give me that necklace," nangungusap na sabi ko, kinakabahan sa mangyayari. Lumapit ako sa kaniya at sinubukang agawin ang kwintas ko, but he just moved his hand away from me.
"I don't know what to do to you now. You're making me vomit. Your actions are so unreal. Apologising for something so stupid." Nanginginig na napatingin ako kay Zeno. Nakahalumbaba na ito habang may nasisiyahang ekspresyon sa kaniyang mukha.
"That necklace was important to me. Your life is not even close to being payment for my necklace if that necklace was destroyed." Huli na nang pagsisihan ko ang mga sinabi ko nang malamig itong tumingin sa kapatid niya.
"Xero, you know, like old times," mariing sabi nito. Mabilis na gumapang ang kaba sa akin nang ngumiti ito at tumingin sa akin na nanliliit.
"Nothing's important, Abby. Sorry, not so sorry," he said as he threw my necklace into the pond.
My breath halted as I stared at the pond where he threw the necklace. My mind exploded with darkness. I couldn't process what was going on anymore.
"Woah, we hit the jackpot."
I couldn't breathe properly. I walked to the massive pond that has lots of plants. One would think that if something so small was accidentally thrown into this massive pond, it would be impossible to find, but for me, even if it were impossible, I would definitely look for it.
Wala na akong pakealam kung malawak man ito at madumi, ang mahalaga ay mahanap ko ang kwintas na ibinigay sa akin ng mama ko.
The cold water added to the dizziness I was feeling.
"Just when did you become so reckless and hardheaded like this? Damn!"
Hindi ko na naintindihan pa ang sunod na pagtapon nila ng mga salita at patuloy na itinuon ang pansin sa paghahawi ng mga dumi sa pond.
Shameless? I can't even feel that when something so shameful happens. I would feel so embarrassed if I hadn't found my necklace.
Why do I have to meet those stupid twins?
