By accident ( ON HOLD, IS BEING REVISED )

Unexpected

‘Come on, come where is that stupid bus, I swear it’s always the same...’ 

Raven cursed out the bus a few more times. But she was right  the bus was late again. 

The bus had this friendly old driver who’s eyes were sadly not so good anymore, so to make sure he saw every car coming (and person) he drove slowly, very slowly which resulted in Raven and me being late for school most of the time.

’ Calm down Raven, it’s Friday and we don’t have any test today so...’ 

This caused her to relax slightly. 

‘ Sorry for freaking Alex, you know how I get when I’m stressed.’ I was about to reply when the bus came in view.

 ‘Yes I know.’ I mumbled quietly under my breath. 

Raven was jumping up and down and squealing loudly at the sight of the bus. 

‘ Calm down.’ I hissed ‘It’s just the bus and people can see you.’ and mystery girl...

I had butterflies in my stomach, actually I had butterflies in my stomach every time the bus came in view. 

And yes this was indeed because of my nameless crush sitting on the bus. We had had eye-contact a few times but that was it. Another thing I noticed about her beside her beautiful eyes was that there was never someone sitting beside her. This always made me hope that I would get the chance to sit beside her... 

My thoughts were interrupted by a groaning Raven. ‘No, no you can’t be serious, Oh God the bus is packed!’ 

I looked over at the bus and had to agree with her.

There were even a few freshmen stuck against the windows of the bus.

‘ Come on Raven we can make it!’ I tried to stay positive.

 ‘ Tell my mother I want white lilies on my grave.’

Stupid little annoying freshmen. Yes I was cursing out this ‘sweet, little’ kids because It was the third time some kid had stood on my foot and by now I was considering a foot-amputation. 

I could hear Raven curse under her breath as well. 

We currently trying to make our way around some annoying kids who were to lazy to make place for us.

I looked around in the hope I saw an empty seat and to subtly look if I saw my mystery girl somewhere. 

Suddenly I felt my foot getting crushed again, I grimaced and started to turn around to give this stupid kid a piece of my mind.

 When I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around again and went completely still. 

There she was my mystery girl, she had just touched my shoulder... 

‘...Will you?’ I must look like an idiot just staring at her, having no idea about what she just said. She chuckled and repeated her question

 ‘ I asked if you would like to sit next to me?’ 

Her voice was slightly husky and that was damn sexy!

 I noticed she was still looking quizzically at me.

 ‘ Uh... Yeah .. sure... thanks’ 

I took the seat next to her and she spoke again. 

‘ I offered because it looked like one of those kids was crushing your toes’ She looked amused while mentioning my toes getting crushed. 

‘ Yes actually they were, thank you for that. I’m Alex by the way.’ 

‘ My name is Lauren and no problem. I couldn’t let a beautiful girl like you suffer anymore pain could I?’ She stated boldly.

 I blushed and looked around to hide my blush. Wow she just called me beautiful! 

My gaze fell on Raven. She was sitting a few seats behind Lauren and me, next to some old fat dude. 

I grinned at her and she gave me the finger back.

 Well someone was grumpy.

I turned back in my seat and noticed that Lauren took out her Ipod and stared outside the window. She was so beautiful with her black hair and her eyes... 

Suddenly I saw her staring at me as well and we both looked away quickly. Raven was watching me curiously and then pointed at Lauren with a ‘we-have-to-talk’ look. 

I smiled at her and took out my Ipod. ‘Smile’ by Avril Lavigne started playing. 

I smiled this was the perfect day. I was sitting next to the girl I had a crush on and I could finally breath since the freshmen had gone to the back of the bus.

Nothing could go wrong anymore!
