Chapter one: a new start

Joeys p.o.v

It's been a month or two since I left high school and I'm already going to college "Danny!" I yell as I wait at the car " yes Joey" Daniel said back as he softly kisses my neck " do I have to go to a college, I mean I could work instead" I say pleading " yes you do and plus I didn't rent a dorm for you so you have to come back every night" Daniel said back as we pull out of the driveway " fine" I say as I let out a sigh, I had got in the school and see everybody is looking at me weirdly then I let my eyes stare at spirit " what is he doing here" I say to myself as I walk to my classroom, when the bell rings for recess I see spirit run up to me, he pushes me onto the ground as hard as he could, I fell to the ground cutting my arm I think nothing of it at the time but as it gets more and more painful I just storm out of the classroom I then text Daniel because it would be right about now he had his break

Joey: Hi danny

Daniel: what happened 🤨

Joey: who said anything happened

Daniel: hmmm I got a text from the teacher saying that you stormed out of class😠

Joey: n-nothing happened can you just pick me up from school

Daniel: *sighs* I'll ask my boss and text your teacher to see if it is ok...

*ten minutes later*

Daniel: I'm coming to pick you up Joey, wait for me at the school gate

Ten minutes later I walk outside and see Daniels car, I hide my cut as best as I could but fail as i was still in a lot of pain, most of the car ride home was really quiet but I could tell Daniel was pissed off

At the house

I walk in the house when I feel daniel grab my wrist I scream in pain as my cut shows " Joey, who did this to you" he yells as he kisses my forehead to reassure me that things are ok
