"Annalise," a voice whispered. I grumbled, rolling over to avoid it. I guarantee you that it isn't time for school yet, I still have a good few hours- my body can feel it. "Annalise!" The voice hissed. I recognized it as belonging to that of my lovely twin, Aiden.

I didn't open my eyes, "I know where you live, you're on thin ice bub." I threatened, earning myself a chuckle from my brother's throat.

When I didn't move anymore I heard him groan, "Annalise!"

I opened one of my eyes, "What?" I growled, my eyes darting to the clock. I sat up on my elbows, "Why the fuck are you waking me up at four-thirty in the morning, you psychopath!" We have school later today, I'm going to be absolutely miserable if I don't get back to sleep!

He shook his head in amusement, "You have a guest." He motioned to the door and I saw Zach standing in it, moonlight only lighting up half of his face.

Confused, I climbed out of bed, shoving Aiden to the floor in the process. He gets no special treatment for being my brother, this is everyone who wakes me up before seven's punishment: the good ole' floor.

"Ouch!"

"Deal with it," I shrugged. I flipped on the light switch to reveal Zach, he was fully dressed as if he had lunch plans in twenty minutes. "What's going on?" I ask, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

I was kind of ticked that I had been interrupted, my sleep schedule is important- especially lately. But, I also know that Zach has my best interests at heart and wouldn't wake me up like this without a reason.

He had a grin plastered to his face, "I have a surprise for you." I raised a brow at that, a surprise?

I heard Aiden get off the floor, "So I see that you've finally had enough of her. Murder it is then, I'll just grab my shovel and we can be on our way-" he was cut off by Zach's facepalm.

"No you idiot," they began to argue, and I wasn't having it. Sneakily I managed to flip the light, and crawl back into bed without the two of them noticing, piece of cake. I heard Zach sigh, "Come on Lise, you're going to like it."

I shook my head.

"What if I gave you..." he trailed off, not knowing what to bribe me with. I shook my head, there was nothing. Sleep above all. "...chocolate?"

"Nice try," I rolled over once more.

He sighed, "Lise." He whined, stressing the e. But I didn't move, silence is as good as a no in my case.

I felt arms enclose around my leg, my eyes popped wide open as I screamed. I hit the floor lightly as Zach had cushioned most of the fall with his own body, "Zach!" I scolded, my heart palpated rapidly. "Give a girl a little warning next time!"

He just chuckled, "Come on, please. Let me do this for you," it was those words that did it.

I know that I haven't been the easiest person to be around this week. With my dad's wedding getting canceled- and me being the cause, I've gotten the cold shoulder from half of our family this week. Only Grandma Norah and Uncle Thomas were on my side, and that's only because Uncle Thomas absolutely hated Meredith.

I've been mistreated by my own family, ignored by my own father- not that I had much of his attention, to begin with- and it seems that this week just isn't mine.
