Chapter 8 - The Outsider

Mr. Gold drove his car up to the town line, Caitlynn in the passenger's seat, he stopped the car but let running, leaving the light on. Then Caitlynn asked to him. "Ready to do the experiment?"

"I'm ready." Mr. Gold replied to her as he stepped out of his car and he walked over to her side as then he let out of the car.

"Always the gentleman." Caitlynn comment happily as she was out of the car with his help.

"Can't help it, with a beautiful woman next to me." Mr. Gold flirted as then he and Caitlynn walked over the back of the car and opened it, to reveal Smee in the back, tied up. Mr. Gold pulled him out of the back. When he was out Mr. Gold said to him. "This will only take a moment." Then he was leading him to the town line.

"Don't push me over." Smee cried as he started to struggle. "If I cross the line, I'll lose my memory. It's a cruel fate."

Then Caitlynn couldn't help, but comment to the man. "Don't be like a baby."

Mr. Gold kicked him on the ground as then he grabbed the red hat of from Smee. "You've had this rag since the day we met. Why is it so important to you?"

"My grandmother made it for me when I was a boy." Smee stuttered a little. "It's always brought me good fortune. What difference does it make?"

"Oh, ho ho." Caitlynn thought that sounded like Santa clause. "All the difference in the world. It's your only chance." Mr. Gold said as he poured the potion it over the hat, making it glow with magic.

Then Mr. Gold throw the red hat to Smee as then he quickly put it up. "What do you mean, my only..." He started to ask as then Mr. Gold pushed him over the town line. Making him glow for a moment.

"What's your name?" Caitlynn asked as she stood next to Mr. Gold.

"William Smee." Smee replied to her.

"And who am I?" Mr. Gold asked to him.

"Rumpelstiltskin." Smee stood up. "The Dark One." He swallowed hard. "I remember everything! How can this be?"

Then Smee walked over the town line as then Mr. Gold grabbed him. "Well, it seems our little experiment was a success." He hissed at him as he let him go. "Now go." Smee run hard away as then he turned to Caitlynn. "I have a trip to plan."

"We have a trip to plan, Gold." Caitlynn said to him. "Did really think I would let you go alone in the world without magic?"

"No." Mr. Gold replied to her, smiling like a cheshire cat.

"Good." Caitlynn said as then she kissed him.

Back at the shop, Mr. Gold let Caitlynn see what he going to pour it over, with the potion. He stood by his safe as he opened it to reveal a shawl, he turned to face her, with the shawl in his hands. "This shawl is all I have left of my Baelfire." He explained it to her.

"This is what you are going to pour it over, right?" Caitlynn asked to him.

"Yes." Mr. Gold replied to her.

Caitlynn smiled at him. "Now you have pinpoint where he is in my land."

"In deed I do." Mr. Gold said to her. He came to reality that he had no idea where his son was in this world.

"Hmm-mmm." Caitlynn hummed as then she suddenly yawned.

"Maybe you should go to sleep." Mr. Gold suggested.

Caitlynn nodded in agreement. "Yeah and it's late after all." She looked at him. "Could you pouf me home?"

"You can learn it for yourself, just think of the location and you should be there." Mr. Gold told her.
