The night came, she started packing her things. Her father had left his computer on his table, and a large black sweater. She put it over her white dress and left the house. She looked up at the house, before leaving her and Teddy's place. She saw a light turned on, in her parent's bedroom. She couldn't see the inside of the house, but she could see someone looking right at her. Her rosy cheeks lost lots of its color as she realized it was her mother. Without hesitation, she turned around and ran out to the park. Her mother knew. She had let her go. What if it was to punish her afterward. No, it couldn't be. She climbed the tree and sat next to her friend.

"What happened to you. You weren't out and you're face is pale," Teddy asked, brushing off the dirt from her cold cheeks. She looked up at him, smiling. Someone she could trust was the nicest and sweetest person ever. The locked eye for a second.

He saw pain, fear, and thurst knowledge. He could see her suffer, and her dry tears of fear. He could see she needed help, and that something was wrong. This wasn't the Adriana he grew up with... It was a new, better one.

"I will help you. No matter what. If you want to leave. I will leave with you. Just promise me we'll find our new home, and that we will be able to live a happy life," he whispered to her.

She smiled and nodded yes. She was positive they were going to find where they belonged. Nd everything will be back to her life she had before this one. She didn't know it, but she could feel it was a life full of adventures and different things every day. Nothing was monotone or perfect, but it would be the best.

"Will you come with me to the working building?" she asked him.

"I will."

They jumped out of the tree and ran to their bikes. There was building in front of them labeled SB.

"That's the Senat BUilding, it's in 3 streets," Teddy said.

They continued riding their bikes until they arrived at a tall grey building. Windows covered one whole side, while a smooth metal wall covered all the others. Through the windows, Teddy and Adrianna could see nobody. The cost was clear.

They entered the building. They ran up the stairs until they found the computer floor. The logged into a computer. Everything was dark, except for the yellow light of the screen.

"Adriana Jones," Teddy type. "It only sais floor 345. Okay. Let's go."

Adriana followed by her friend ran up the stairs. An hour later, they arrived up to the large room. Nothing was in it, just a white keyboard. Adriana typed her name.

Videos of her popped up in front of her. She clicked on the first.

It was snowing, with a light sun. She was n the hands of her parents. Her real parents. She was around 10 years old in the video. She looked happy, playing in the snow with her father, while her mom filmed. She heard a laugh and voices. She couldn't quite understand them, but hearing them made her feel at home.

"See, I'm not from here. And I don't think anybody is from here either. The government stole us from our real parents. We need to go back! I can't live with these rules and lies!" Adriana said. She was pissed at everyone for lying to her. She knew her father knew she wasn't from here.

"Bravo," a man's voice called from behind her. He clapped slowly as he came out of the shadow and into the light. His right red eye and his left grey one sparkled as he smiled with white teeth. His dark skin and dark working suit let his white hair shine more than anything in the room. "Adriana. Why do you trust your mother so well." He chuckled. Behind him appeared her mom. She was sad, Adriana could see it, but she was mostly scared. She couldn't believe it. Her own mother was going to lead her to her death.

"How could you!?" Adriana yelled. She wanted to hurt her mom, to kill her. She hated her for doing something so bad. "Teddy. Upload the videos," she whispered. Teddy started downloading everything about Adriana. "Who are you? What do you want?" She couldn't believe how brave she was. But she knew she had to stay brave, or everything will go the wrong way again.

"I am Lord Gesouch, leader of this utopia. You, Adriana Jones, broke more than enough rules. I'm going to have to add rules for bedtime if this continues. Now, Theorodre, give me the downloads, now."

Theodore handed Adriana the USB stick with all of the proof she needed. She placed it in her pocket and ran. She ran down the stairs as fast as she could, Lord Gesouch on her tail.

"Get all the security on the door!" he yelled. Adriana jumped into floor number 231 and hid with Theorodre. Everything was going so fast she didn't even see was she was- the guards' armory.

"Take this," Theodore handed her a small gun She took it, with two daggers. She had to be prepared.

"I found something. Hurry I hear them coming!" she whispered, and grabbed a large backpack. It was a jet pack and their only way out of this place.

"Don't you dare leave!" the Lord yelled. He was in the room, the guards following him, surrounding the children.

"JUMP!" Theorodre yelled.

"You don't have one. I'm not leaving without you!" Adriana yelled back, but Theodore pushed her out the window. She flew away, without any control of her jet pack.

Theodore watched as his best friends flew away to a better life. He was happy and proud. He turned back around to meet his enemy in the eye. He was prepared for whatever was coming.

"You just killed yourself young one. See how loving someone off is bad. It shouldn't be allowed to love. I should add that. Love is dangerous. It takes and takes until it is satisfied, but when it's not, it breaks the poor hearts of young people like you.

"I am not afraid of love. I am not afraid of you and your stupid games! I'm not afraid of you!" Theodore yelled.

"I feel bad for you. Throw him to the prison," Lord Gesouch ordered his guards.

All the sudden, Theodore took out his small gun and shot the first guard he saw. He continued killing all the guards, shooting them in the head. He tried to run away but was pulled back into the room by the lord.

"Bring him!" he ordered once more, Katy, at his side. She had no emotions. It wasn't her. It couldn't be. He turned his head to look back out the window. He knew Adriana was safe. He knew she was over the wall and finding her family. She was... home.
