Chapter 7.

(Third person pov)

" 1 person injured and several others dead at local  house party. Suspect not found, All members around this community must stay indoors until further notice, now an interview from the one survivor of the dreadful attack. "

Everyone sat in the living room watching the horrific news on the television. Kody pouted as he continued to watch the news. The ambiance crew lift the injured man on to the stretcher.  " the, the k-id!!! . He just...killed..!!my friends in cold !!b-blo- *cough* " the man sobbed and coughed up blood .

  Lumine gagged covering his mouth. Everyone noticed and immediately turned their attention to the wolf. "Lumine,  are you ok?" Kody said looking a bit worried .

"I-its.....nothing" lumine removed his hand and walked away with a empty expression" .

Kody stared at his dad sitting in the couch in front of him. Aiden looked rather upset than worried about the wolf.  "Dad, aren't you worried about lumine?" Kody asked. Aiden was ripped out of his thoughts because of what his son asked him.

"Of course...why wouldn't I be." Aiden smiled softly,  But Kody knew it wasn't genuine . Brushing it off Kody got up. " I'm going to go and check up on h-" Kody was cut off by his father. "No!, I-I mean...he's fine. You should probably go get some sleep it's already 11:30. Aiden said smiling awkwardly.

Kody looked at sherry As if asking 'what's wrong with him'. Sherry just shrugged and sighed.

Kody gave his dad a questioning look. Then He went upstairs  to check up on his firend. Kody was not as stubborn as the wolf but whenever it came down to lumine, Kody realized he could be all sorts of stubborn. He didn't care what his dad had to say, Obviously something was wrong with lumine and he wanted to help.

Kody knocked on the wolf's door softly. Seconds later a head pops up behind the door.

" Kody....what is it? " lumine spoke quietly, his voice seemed to shift with every word that came out his mouth.

"Are you ok, you seemed like you were gonna puke a while ago. I just want to make sure your fine". Kody stared at the wolf's pail face, his mind seemed to think up all sorts of reasons why and ironic situations to why the wolf would  behave so strangely. "Yeah....I'm fine" lumine closed his door without another word. The same empty expression remained on the werewolfs face.

Kody was surprised by lumine closing the door in his face like that. It wasn't like the wolf, it wasn't something lumine would have done out of spite. Kody was even more worried now.

Calla's pov

Today I was going to kodys house I thought I would hang out with him as much as I can  before summer break, since I'm going to a different country to see my long lost relatives or whatever.

I rong the bell as soon as I arrived at my boyfriends residence. *Ding Dong*

I was pleased by who opened the door. "Oh, hello calla. How are you" . The person who opened the door was none other than Kodys father. "Hello sir, I'm fine thank you". He signaled for me to come in. "You know you can just call me Aiden, Calla". I agreed with a nod. Kodys dad was always so nice to everyone. It made me feel relaxed around him. He was nothing like my mom and dad at all.

"Aiden is Kody here right now". I said blushing a bit. "Yeah he's up stairs" Aiden smiled at me. I smiled back and walked up the stairs staring at 'past photos' Kody, his dad and 3 other people. Kodys house just screamed the word family. Down to the frames on the walls to height markings carved into the side of a door leading to somewhere unknown.
