chapter 3

(Third person pov)

Kody panicked as he ran after lumine. He never meant one word of what he said about lumine, if anything to Kody... lumine was the complete opposite of useless. Kody knew that lumine was one of the most funny, honest and caring people he knew.

Lumine was and still is one of the most important things in his life. "Gyaaa!! Shit!! Where the hell are you lumine" Kody yelled as he searched the whole park and then the secret part of the forests they would always hang out.

No matter were Kody searched he couldn't seem to find his best firend.

After a while of searching Kody gave up. Somehow the witch convinced his self lumine was at home, so Kody draged his feet on the snow covered concrete side walk, walking home.

"Ugh" Kody sighed as he walked under the dim street lamps.

"Aww that white fluffy puppy was so cute right "  the girl with blond hair said gigging with the other 3 girls.

when Kody heard the random girl say that his eye's lit up with hope.

Kody ran towards the 4 girls across the street. "Umm excuse me, about that puppy. Which way did He go" Kody asked the girls.

" He went down 'palms street'" the red head girl said swirling her hair. "Oh no the beach is down that street, hopefully the adorable pup won't jump in the water he could drown". A brunette added in.

" Thank you so much!! " Kody yelled as he speeds off to wards palms street.

"Wow he was cute as shit" the last girl said while she watched Kody run off. "Sabrina you slut, he's not on your level" the blond said rolling her eye's.

Lumine turned back in to human form, He sat in front the ocean looking out into sea thinking of how huge It really was.

Lumine's heart ached, He couldn't explain why. Kody has always been super carring and sweet towards him. So why now, why did Kody have to say that, why did Lumine have to hear him say it.

'I shouldn't have run'
Lumine thought as tears slipped down his face.

"Lumine!!! Baka!!!" Kody ran up to lumine and hugged him tightly.  "You little idiot....don't scare me like that"

Lumine felt all his worry's melt away. Kodys embrace almost made lumine forget what he said.

They both pulled away in silence. The tension in the air seemed to grow as they sat and stared at the ocean awkwardly. The silence soon broke by lumine saying "kody....you hurt me" tears filled the wolf's eye's .

"Look I-" Kody began , " I didn't mean the things I said about you to Calla. In fact your the opposite of useless and....your very important to me... "

Kody in his own mind had realized the things lumine made him feel. He was tied between telling lumine or keeping quiet. " and so lumine...I'm So very sorry. Even if I didn't mean it I had no right to even say that about you .....the person who would give there life for me" Kody finished.

"Kody....it's ok I forgive you" lumine said as he reached over and hugged Kody again. At first Kody was taken back by the gester but soon gave in to the hug. As they hugged Kody couldn't help but notice how warm lumine felt.

lumine 's so warm .....he's So soft.....so cute..

Kody Blushed at his thought 's

Kody wanted to this moment to last for ever but it soon ended as he realized that it was pretty late.

"Lumine we need to go" Kody said smiling at the wolf.

Kody got up and brushed the little aspects of sand and snow off of his clothe. The witch pushed his hands in his pockets and began to walk away.

Lumine also rose up wanting to catch up with kody. But as soon as the wolf got up he fell back down again. The wolf Teen began to pant and sweat as if he ran an marathon.

Kody turned around because he couldn't hear lumines foot steps behind him. The witch found the white haired boy on the sand still, but this time passed out.

Kody ran over to lumine shaking him, but no response. So then he checked lumine 's pulse. He was ok.

Kody hosed the wolf over his back and headed home.

Sherry 's pov

*tic, tic, tic*

I watched the clock as every second ticked  by. I was becoming impatient. My fingers seemed to dance across the kitchen table. Bit by bit nerv's were consuming me. Until that is, I heard the door open.

I swiftly turned around. " Kody!! Lumine!! " I said walking over to them.

The first thought that crossed my mind was why Kody was holding lumine bridal style. But I brushed it off

"Kody are you ok? Is lumine ok?" I asked concern filling my tone.

"  I T-Think Somethings wrong with lumine" Kody said breathlessly from running.

I nodded and took lumine from kodys grasp. "He's gonna be fine so...don't sweat it."  I said attempting to make Kody feel better . " you know Kody lumine's just in heat. By the time of next week he will be better. I walked to lumine 's room upstairs.

As I open his room door I thought to myself about earlier when I took lumine from kody.

I could not have help but notice Kodys reaction. 

As I took lumine, kody seemed to hold on a bit tighter as it seems he didn't want to let go.

I headed in to the wolf's room brushing off another thought once again.

I placed the wolf on his bed and tucked him in.
"Lumine.....ever since you arrived here..you've helped kody...alot.. so thank you".  I stared at the sleeping wolf for an second then headed down the stairs to check on kody. 

I still need to know why they are coming home this late. Even now Adien and silver were still out looking for them.
