The saddest thing is that Xaviera had no friends to cry to.

No one to tell her that it was okay. Oscar was her best friend, her confidant, her one and only. She hated him but her heart ached for him.

She didn't even have anywhere to go. She'd disappeared from the Prophets months ago, she couldn't turn up now, out of nowhere.

She sat down of this pavement, dizzy from running, her face matted with tears and mascara. Her stomach hurt and began to cramp. She couldn't hold it in anymore and let out an animalistic cry.

The tears had no barriers as it flooded down her face, she held her stomach as she tried to calm herself down but it clearly wasn't working.

She felt a sense of nausea before she got up shakily and threw up behind a bush. She wiped her mouth and sat back down.

She was there for over half an hour, shivering from the cold. She was in nothing but an oversized t-shirt and slippers, she left all her things at Oscar's house. And she wasn't going back there. Not ever.

Despite her broken heart, she couldn't help think about him. They'd made love earlier that week, it was much better than their first time, it hurt much less, he was more gentle, more caring. Countless times, he'd whispered te amo in her ears. She wasn't Spanish, but every idiot knew what that meant.

She began to cry again, he'd told her he loved her then lied to her. She wasn't surprised if he was lying, if he could lie to her from the beginning, how could she believe him if he said he loved her.

She looked up at the pitch black sky, she didn't even know what time it was, she'd left her phone at his house as well. She groaned through her tears and was about to get up when a car rolled past her.

Her heart hammered against her chest as the car pulled up to a stop and the anonymous person stepped out.

"Ey, Xavs, is that you?" She looked up to see Big Smalls, a Prophet. One of the good ones anyway. Which were rare.

Why they called him Big Smalls? She never knew.

She got up weakly and walked over to him, before collapsing in his arms.

"Woah! Girl, have you been drinking? I thought you don't–" he helped her stand up straight.

She waved her hand, "I don't, I just....a lot has happened."

He nodded, "You know if they see you on these streets, they'll kill you. Word got out that you're fucking that Santos boy."

"I'm not...." she hugged herself, before muttering, "at least not anymore..."

Big sighed, before embracing her, "You know it was your father that kept the peace between these men, him and that Finnie, he got out of it lucky enough but your father...your father paid with his life."

Xaviera cried into his chest, "I'm so lost...I don't know what to do."

"As cheesy as shit as this is going to sound, follow your heart Xaviera. It's what your father did. And it's what he'd want you to do."

Xaviera sniffled and nodded her head.

"C'mon let's get you off these streets before these weirdos come and get you." Xaviera laughed and got into the car with him.

He dropped her off at a familiar spot, "Finnie will be more than happy to take you in, you know that." She nodded, "Stay safe Xaviera."

She nodded and trudged off to Monse's door.

She knocked slowly and her dad opened.

Once she saw him, she broke down into tears and he took her in his arms, cooing at her, telling her to calm down.

He welcomed her in.

"Can I go and check on Monse?" Xaviera asked.

Her dad nodded.

She knocked before entering Monse's room.

"Hey." She said softly.

Monse rose from her bed.

"Hey Xavs, what's u–..." she trailed off, "Are you okay? Have you been crying? Oh my god you have! Sit down."

Xaviera sighed and took and seat on her bed, "A lot happened. You're a bit young to–"

Monse looked at her and crossed her arms, "I'm not too young for anything. I've had sex before you." She whispered that last part so her dad didn't hear.

Xaviera made a face, then looked away. Monse raised her eyebrows and slapped her arm, "Who? When? How? And Where?"

Xaviera told Monse everything, with a few interruptions from her, asking questions and calling Oscar a puta.

Mostly her calling him names.

Monse sighed. "Thank you for everything, but Cesar's leaving town tomorrow. It's just...he can't...." she wiped away a tear.

"I know baby sister, I know. Diaz's are nothing but trouble."

Xaviera engulfed her in a hug and they fell asleep together.
