Skye's POV
Chris and I walked in the house and Aaron followed in behind us about five minuets later.
"What were you doing?" I asked her
"Killing a biter." She said
I gasped sarcastically "You didn't examine it for an hour first?! I am amazed at you."
She rolled her eyes and pushed passed me and onto the couch, sitting down next to Chris.
Dakota came up behind me and hugged me from behind. I smiled and hugged his arms.
"Hey." he said
"Hey" I said back
He hugged me a little tighter then released me. I turned around and smiled. He kissed my cheek then lead me to a spot in the floor for us to sit.
If you couldn't infer already, Dakota is my boyfriend. We were together before this hole biter thing happened. So I'd say we've been together for about......6 years. Yeah, longest lasting relationship ever.
No, we're not the perfect couple but, who is?
I sighed and leaned against Dakota. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight.
I smiled a little.
"Alright guys, get to your rooms. Everyone who's scheduled for watch out, get your asses over here." Dalton said
Dakota kissed my cheek and got up. I frowned and grabbed his wrist.
"Do you have to..?" I asked
He nodded "sorry babe...I'll be safe. I promise. I love you."
I nodded "okay...I love you too..."
He gave me a reassuring smile and walked away, grabbing his gun from the coffee table.
Chris, Dakota, and Dalton walked out of the door and it closed.
I knew...that they weren't going to be safe...
