Under The Stars

Chapter 5

After we had talked to several people, and talked to the owner we got ready for our investigation. All was going well until I was left alone in the night club. I started to feel a bit different until it was like i wasn't in control anymore.

As I started to fight the dark entity I walked over to a wall so I could lean against it.

"Ah! Stop!" I yelled as I bent over trying to get a hold of myself. My hand hit the wall bruising my knuckles. They only reason I knew this was because I hit it hard. Really hard. I could feel a hand on my back as I fought for power of my own body. I knew I was trying to be possessed but I wouldnt let it take over.

"Stop!" I yelled fighting the pain. That's when everything turned black for me. I was standing in a black void. I didn't know what happened but I could feel immense pain. So I wasn't dead. Well dead in a way...but not completely.

When my eyes opened I was met with a bright yellow light and a hardwood ceiling. As well as Riley's, Luke's and Billy's concerned faces. Luke and Riley sighed in relief as I became very tired. Next thing I knew I was being helped up and had both of my teammates on either side of me helping me walk outside. As soon as we where about ten feet away I collapsed to the ground.

I turned over on my back trying to take in deep breathes.

"Raven!" I could hear an all to familiar voice yell. It belonged to Zak Bagans.

"I'm fine...just tired..." Was all I could respond with as I closed my eyes. I had one hand in my stomach as the other was laying across my head.

"Damn" I mumbled to myself "that was fu****g intense..."

"Just leave her for a minute. She needs to get back to her normal self." I heard Nick speak up as my eyes closed. They immediately snapped open and I stood up and backed away from the night club.

"Raven? Talk to me what's wrong?" Luke asked as he walked towards me.

"I-i seen him...."

"Who?"

"Satan..." I responded and his face flashed horror "All the trapped souls, th-they where tortured they can't leave..." everyone was staring at me with horror as I broke down crying on camera. I fell to my knees my head in my hands as I sobbed. I NEVER did this on camera NEVER.

"Stop the cameras!" Riley yelled as I heard his combat boots hit the ground before I was engulfed into a large warm hug. I continued to sob for 15 minuted before I couldn't cry anymore.

"Let's get you back to the hotel Raven." Luke said as I was picked up but dropped back on my butt.

"Dang your heavy." Luke muttered.

"Yea thanks. You didn't have to drop me on my a**. I responded using Riley's arm to help me stand up.

" What did you see?" Riley asked and I ignored him as I walked over to the black Explorer we had rented.

"Raven. What did you see?" He continued to prod before I snapped on him.

"F**k off Riley!" I yelled at him as I whipped around to face him. I was filled with anger and sorrow and didn't wanna talk to anyone.

"Raven?" Zak spoke up, I turned to him.

"What?" I spat at him.

"Calm down." Was all he said, I realized what I had done and turned to Riley.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly before getting into the back of the Explorer to sleep a bit.

"Dude she's never like this." Luke said.

"No she isn't." Riley responded.

"Just give her some time. She was possessed and is obviously being affected by the spirits. Want us to come back to the hotel with you?" Aaron stated.

"Yea, we don't know how to deal with this stuff." Was all I heard before the back door opened and I was lifted into strong arms.

"You guys can ride with us and I'll have billy take the Explorer." Zak said and I realized it was him carrying me. I was set onto different seats and my head layed in someone's lap. They gently played with my hair as I fell asleep. My eyes shot open and I gripped the person that was carrying me very tightly.

"Shhh, shhh hey it's okay its okay your fine its Aaron." The person said soothingly and i just hugged him tighter.
