I wondered what Ban was doing sometimes, but then I realised there was no point in wondering about Ban. When I walk beside him he slows down but when I trip he quickly walks ahead. When he smiles my whole world burns almost as bright as Escanor's sun, but when he frowns it just makes me laugh- like such a foul expression should not be on someone so beautiful.
As we walked through the forest, I felt a sharp object brush against my hand causing me to gasp. Looking up, Ban looked startled as I realised it was his hand.
Clasping it gently, we continued to walk in the deafening silence to bathe in the creature's songs around us. On a nearby tree, I spotted a resting bird.
'Ban!' I jumped excitedly 'Ban! Look!'. He turned curiously, eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he did not get my point.
'It's blue! Like your hair Ban!' I twirled, laughing as the creases in his face were finally forming into a genuinely rare smile.
'Oh... Ban?'
'Geez. You ask a lot of questions for a sleepy girl' He laughed fruitily.
'Why did you want to go on a walk at this hour?'
He sighed, looking straight into my eyes and l rolled mine in unison. As if it was timed, we suddenly came to a huge clearing near the forest.
